We had our garage door installed in 2012 by Precision and choose them to handle the repair of a broken door spring that failed. Because our call came in at 2pm the day before, we couldn't get someone out that same day to take care of our issue, and thus couldn't use our cars at this point as the door wouldn't open for us. But the very next day Jake Roszina came out with another gentleman that was being trained (sorry I can't recall the gentleman's name), to help us with getting our garage door working again. Jake was very professional and gave us options to tackle the repairs that were needed. We were more than impressed with these two young men as they were in and out in about ninety minutes. We basically elected to have everything replaced that helps with running the door to include two new springs, all the necessary bearings and cables, etc. It certainly wasn't cheap, but now we should be worry free for the next several years with a reliable garage door that we use several times every single day! Thanks again for being so prompt and helping us get our lives back on track again! You guys helped us big time, thanks again, Scott.

I had my springs replaced 4 years ago by Precision and one broke yesterday. Of course it’s not under warranty It cost $109 each 4 years ago Today they wanted $784 to replace both. Yes $784!! Refused to have it done for that cost Way to go Precision door!!!

Stu came out & assessed the situation. He determined that the light sensors needed replaced. Problem was solved after running through the opening & closing of the door. Made some recommendations of potential future problems & was on his way. Stu was cordial and pleasant. Would love to have him come out if problems arise in the future.

Talked to Brock and agreed on doing only the spring that is broken and not the one that was still working. Mid way thru conservation the worker refused to do one spring and took the phone and told me he was leaving and not doing the repair.

He was able to come out same day, on a Sunday, and have my springs and other hardware replaced and back to working condition in less than an hour. Guy doing the service was super knowledgable and friendly. Will definitely use this company again in the future.

Work performed by Stu Ellenberger. Very personable, professional and knowledgeable about my garage door opener model (Chamberlain). He determined the door opener was jammed due to the header bracket board popping loose, causing the travel limits out of adjustments. Cleared the jam, installed new larger fasteners for the bracket board to fix it firmly in place and reset travel limits for the door trolley. Noted my door rollers were wearing out, they were quite noisy, replaced all of them, definitely quited things down. Time on site from start to finish was just little more than an hour. Very satisfied with the work, service performed and would recommend them to anyone needing garage door service.

I was charged $240 just to close a broken door, for which I had to help with most of the labor. This was a complete joke - 3 clamps, unscrewing 2 screws and unscrewing the tension bars to let the door down. He told me $150 and then when I had to leave told my wife he need $80 more. And he quoted me a new door at about $500 more than any competitor

Paul - Thanks for taking the time to review our recent service. I can totally get the misunderstanding here. We were called out for a hung or racked door that was out of it's tracks. These are typically dangerous and sometimes require a second pair of hands to prevent the door from falling while it's being manipulated. Additionally, I'm not surprised that our new door was more expensive than others. We warranty our doors for life due to installing only high quality doors. Stu came on a Sunday morning to fix my garage door. He found that by only replacing the rollers and hinges, I would experience more problems in the coming weeks- ie: the whole door cracking in half from the bottom on up.He was able to give me a temporary fix so that I could still use my garage door opener until the door is replaced. Would recommend Precision Door to anyone needing help with their garage. Plus there was no charge for a weekend visit or the service call today.
