PRECISION GARAGE DOOR SERVICE OF COLORADO SPRINGS

Came on a weekend but then issue was not resolved another tech came today ( Saturday) said my security light was interfering unplugged it and truck opens garage so not sure the lesser of two evils no security light or garage opens door from vehicle. Said need to go buy a battery for key pad. Just put one in said it was dead, not sure for 150.00 why I couldn’t be provided a battery. Not happy it took to calls and not happy the security light had to be unplugged to have the truck remote work as many many people have these systems. But money is spent. So techs were very nice.

It took me couple months to write this review because I wanted to see if they would take some $$ off my bill. The reason why they got 1 star is because it took 4-5 months to get my garage door installed. The salesperson game out early August. In October Percision came out to install it. The reason why is because they forgot about me and our order got lost. I had to call the company asking about what’s going on. Because of that I asked the installer manager that I need to be compensated and said will do. When they came out to install our 2 doors it was missing the window part of the door. When I called they knew it was missing and never bothered me to tell me. I also said that I need to be completely and of course they said okay will do. It took to the middle of December to finally get my windows on my garage door to be installed. So it took 4 months to finally have my door installed but the company never communicated with me and they lied to me about being compensated. Don’t get me wrong the salesperson and installers were super nice and friendly but the service from the company was terrible. That’s why I gave them 1 star. I hope you have a better treatment and experience with them.

When Jeffrey arrived the morning of the scheduled garage door installation, I asked him, “Where’s your crew?” He responded politely with, “You’re looking at it.” My first impression was, “There’s no way only one person can handle removing the door. I tried to open the door unsuccessfully when the spring broke due to the winter freeze. It was built in the 80s and weighed 400 lbs. As an Industrial engineer, I am critical when it comes to mechanical work, and asked if I could watch. “Sure,” Jeffrey replied. I could not believe how efficient he was from old parts removal to complete door installation including roller guides panel mountings, and trimmings, with finishing touches all around. It was an excellent pleasure watching him with his highly professional attitude at work. My experience with Precision Garage Door started last December. One of the springs on my door broke on a Saturday. I could not open my garage door. I used my maps app and reviewed a few local businesses. I chose PGD from the Yelp reviews. I used the on line site to book a n appointment. Cory came out that afternoon right on time. He was great. He explained how my door operated and what was required to repair it. He worked into the cold evening and explained my bill and the guarantee fully. This past week in the extreme cold, my door operator would not allow the door to close. I called PHD and they sent Logan out. Logan made some adjustments to get the door to work again. He told my wife our 25 year old Genie was almost out of wishes. He called the office and told his supervisor that the customer chose to replace their own opener. He was told the thank us and waived the call out fee. Precision Garage Door is the best local garage door company you can do business with. Logan was friendly and efficient and I have no complaints about him but ingl, I find it impossible to see past the fact that they charged $400 for a repair that took under 30 minutes which is little short of price gouging of customers who probably don't have a choice (the door was stuck open and a snow storm was coming in)

Precision Overhead door was the only garage door business that I could find that counts Saturday as a regular work day. My garage door spring was broken and I couldn't open the door or get my car out. They sent out a service tech on Saturday afternoon to make the repairs. He replaced the much needed springs, bearings, rollers and made adjustments to the roller tracks. Cory, the repairman, was an intelligent, responsible, honest and skilled worker. I really enjoyed the engaging conversation and especially appreciated his work ethic. Precision has won over a new customer.

We called several companies to make an appointment for getting our garage door opener fixed. Precision was the only one who was able to send someone out the next day. Logan showed up during the scheduled time slot and did an excellent job in getting the new garage door opener installed. He was polite and professional and made sure we were completely satisfied with his work. He reprogrammed all of our remotes, tested them, and verified that everything was working properly. We will definitely use Precision again.
