We have used Precision Garage Door numerous times in the past - purchasing a new garage door and opener and for repairs as well. Response for repairs was same day and technician was right on time. I choose Precision because it was a familiar name from commercials and when I saw the great reviews, my decision was made. The office responded quickly and arranged an appointment for me that same day! WOW! Chris was the technician and he was friendly and a delight to work with. He completed the replacement of our garage opener in a timely fashion and did a great job cleaning up. I called Precision back because I forgot to have them program my husbands truck and car to open the door as well. We had Precision replace the garage door on our newly purchased home in March 2020. We chose Precision because of their reputation for being the best garage door company, and we have not been disappointed - the installation and door are great! So now it was time to have a preventative maintenance visit for the door. I called for an appointment and was able to get one the very same day! Service was friendly. Told us that cables were frayed and that they had to be replaced. When we asked how much that would be we were told “not much at all”. Cables ended up being $255, which is much more than “not much at all”. After we paid, I asked for the old cables. On inspection I found that the cables were not frayed at all. I’m tired of being taken advantage of by contractors.

Precision Garage Doors installed my metal door 7 years ago, and some of the parts were worn so I had them replaced. The spring would not hold the door open any more (no garage door opener) unless I balanced the door just right in the fully open position. And the rubber seal on the bottom of the door just deteriorated and was falling off in pieces. All to be expected after 7 years. Nick was my technician, and did an excellent job. Quick same-day appointment and was all finished in about an hour and a half. He was very professional and friendly and I would recommend Precision Garage Doors.

We needed a garage opening solution to qualify for a wind mitigation insurance credit. The existing door had single pane glass and no covering. We decided to go with a non-window hurricane rated door. Precision was included in some shopping recommendations from our inspector, and I was familiar with their ads on The JOYFM. As I shopped, their reputation, willingness to do a phone estimate (so I got a sense of potential expense), and responsiveness made the decison easy. The designer, Rebecca, was easy to work with. The tech was on time, polite, organized and did neat work. We received a call from Jacqueline that there was a billing error and we were credited our refund the same day the install had occurred! Very pleased with the whole process!
