I was so pleased with Ron and his quick install of a new opener. He explained clearly how the system was operated after he completed the installation work. My old system was very old and had finally failed and what I couldn't get over was how much quieter the new systems is. I wish I had done this years ago. Pricing was very reasonable as well. Totally recommend Precision Door Service.

I worked with Ron to upgrade an existing Lift Master system. He was AWESOME to work with - knowledgeable of the system I had in place, updating our configuration to code, and just a really nice, fun guy to have at the house for a few hours and make improvements. Can't recommend highly enough.

To start, it was easy to make an appointment with Precision. A person answered the phone the first time I called. They offered late day and weekend appointments. Ron arrived promptly at the very beginning of the arrival window I chose. He looked at my doors and explained the problems and potential solutions, as well as the costs. He had all the parts and did the work immediately, even replacing some rusty hinges and stapling up electrical cords another contractor had left hanging from the ceiling. Then he showed me basics of how to reprogram my remotes. It was great to get all of it taken care of so efficiently. My only second thought is that I chose a rebuild “package” and I didn’t get a written quote The invoice was more than what I thought he said by about $75. I figure it was tax, etc… but the invoice didn’t break down the charges. The invoice was emailed, which is efficient, but I didn’t look at it before he left. In general, this was a good experience

I was in need of repair of a broken spring cable. Once here, the tech pointed out that several rollers needed replacement and that some lubrication of others was needed. The two men (a technician and a trainee, both quite pleasant by the way) were here for no more than one hour, and even if parts (primarily two springs and a piece of replacement cable) at your cost were no more than $75, a total cost of $799 for the visit was overly excessive and way out of line. Perhaps an instance of a homeowner needing immediate service. I wouldn't call Precision Garage Door again for garage door service. Had the cost been even $350-$400, I may have thought that was a fair price for parts and labor.

We are very sorry you didn’t have the experience we were hoping to provide. We understand that prices seem extremely high – we certainly agree! To help put your review into prospective I offer the following… We did not just replace “broken springs and a piece of replacement cable.” After reviewing the results of the safety inspection (which showed many warn or failing parts, in addition to your broken spring) you agreed to have all 10 rollers, the lift cables, the springs and safety cables, and pulleys replaced. These parts represent the counterbalance system (the system that allows you to safely open/close the door). This service came with a 5-year warranty. Your door now works as good as new and by the way comes with a warranty substantially longer than most new doors… all at about 35% of the price of a new door. This work took us nearly 1-1/2 hours to complete. By the way, I would love were you priced the parts. Unfortunately, we pay a lot more for the quality parts we put on our customer’s doors. For reference, our suppliers have increased prices over 10 times in the last year or so, representing a cost increase in excess of 120%. If you can source quality parts at the price you listed in your review, I’d love to know where you found them. Thanks for your business, and I hope you enjoy the ease at which your door operates and the near zero noise it creates when opening/closing.

Paul showed up early and evaluated condition of garage door and cable that came off drum. He quickly made many adjustments including getting everything aligned better and replacing a bent rail. Garage door now opens and closes very smoothly - much better than prior contractor was able to do. I'm very pleased that I hired Precision Door Service and they will be my go-to contractor from now on.

The initial door installer worked diligently all day in extreme cold. My doors are beautiful. They work easily and smoothly. They are an excellent addition to my home.

Jacob did more work than we planned but is was well worth it due to the age of the two doors (Original install 2006, last service in 2011). He arrived near the scheduled time and phone if he would be late and then when he was enroute to us. The original work was spring repair for one door, but he determined that both doors needed new springs. He also determined the the older door needed a new track so we ended up replacing the motor and track. He did work as planned and explained the work and new new motor to me as needed.
