Broken Garage Door Spring Repair

This was my first time using Precision Garage Door and overall I was mostly satisfied with their service. I believe the price I was charged to repair/upgrade my garage door spring/opening system was about 25% too high. I had an older spring/opening system so most companies don't carry the parts needed to repair my old system so I had to have a new system put in place. The first company I reached out to, who were the initial installers of my garage door, was able to get the parts I needed for repair but they called me back a day after my door was repaired by Precision. If they would have reached me first they would have saved me almost $700 instead of having Precision make the repair. That is my only complaint about Precision, I believe they over charged me on the parts used to make the repair. That might be my fault as I should have called around for quotes but when something is broken that you need you just pay to fix it. But outside of the price which is a big deal Precision was great. The people I dealt with were courteous, professional, and they responded/completed the work quickly. The man who completed the work also cleaned up thoroughly after himself and seemed to be very knowledgeable and good at his job. If I had it to do over again I might use Precision again but I would definitely call around for quotes on the materials before proceeding with the repair.

You know how when one thing goes wrong everything goes wrong. We just lost my wife’s father and as we were cleaning out somethings in garage the opener stopped working. I looked up service companies in our area and Precision Door Service was the closest so I called them on Friday morning just to check if they could get someone out and how much it was going to cost. Talked to a nice woman in the office who told me they could get a tech out here Saturday 6pm-8pm. I first thought ya right, pay extra for weekend service. No way. But she quoted me some prices for different units and it was spot on. Brandon our service rep called us around 3pm Saturday and told me he was ahead of schedule if it would be ok for him to come now. I told him to come on. Brandon arrived around 4pm looked to make sure we needed to replace our unit. It was old and no longer serviceable so Brandon showed us three different models with pricing for each one. We picked the one we wanted and he was quickly on the job. It took Brandon about an hour and came in to have us inspect the new unit and his work. I must say we were very impressed. Not only was Brandon a gentleman but he went out of his way to make us happy. Thank you Brandon. Also, Precision Door Service texted me a reminder that we were scheduled to have a tech come by and a follow up text to make sure all was well. Plus in the text you could click on the tech location map to see just where our tech was. What a great experience for a bad few days. Thank you again
