Precision Tech James Wooten identified the problems quickly, gave me an estimate of cost to fix it, then fixed it within an hour. He replaced both extension cables, adjusted limit switches, and made all other necessary adjustments in less than an hour. He did exactly what he had told me he would do, and he did it in a timely and professional manner. I highly recommend James for the type of overhead door I have.

My problem happened on a Sunday so aI went online and looked for companies that had 24/7 repair. My original company did not offer that so I just chose Precision because their offices weren’t along ways from my home. They answered in a timely manner and they were really nice. I was told they could be to my home in the next couple of hours. About an hour later, Matt, their technician arrived. His customer service and communication was excellent. Before he began he informed me of the initial charge and he inspected it and told me the immediate things he would do. He also pointed out and showed me other little issues that could go bad. We made a plan and he did the job efficiently and we did things that would insure more lifetime on my garage door. I complimented him on his knowledge and his work ethic and he credited his company for their excellent training. Called on a Friday morning after our garage door was accidentally backed into and was unable to raise it. They sent out a worker within 3 hrs. He was unable to repair the damage as the door was beyond repair. So we were unable to get our car out. He said if they had a door in stock that we were satisfied with, which they did, he would come back in the morning, which was a Saturday, and install it. He was back in the morning with another worker and had installed by mid afternoon. I was very pleased with everyone that I dealt with from the the call on Friday till it was completed on Saturday.

Price for a simple repair service was out of bounds. I had a broken cable on a garage door with torsion springs. Service tech was fine and did good work but I was charged $455 for a 10 minute fix. Charged exactly $200 for the cables which can get at homedepot (same size 1/8") or anywhere else for less than $20. I watched him take right at 10 minutes to replace the cables. $35 fuel/trip charge and another $220 labor. This was after he tried to talk me into replacing the cable drums, which was a much bigger $$ job. I repeatedly declined the new drums and he finally said the ones on there might work but no guarantee. And of course they worked fine. I had Precision Door saved as a contact # in my phone as I was happy with work they have done for me in the past (I maintain 5 rental homes) but they are now deleted off my phone.

Precision was available to check out my garage door/remote the same day that I called. The gentleman who came was very pleasant and professional. He explained that my remote opener was malfunctioning and showed me the problem. He programmed a new opener and showed me how to set the combination on the outside opener. He assured me that the garage door and opener were in good condition. After moving into a new house, there are a lot of items to tackle and this was the easiest. I will definitely be using Precision again if I ever have an issue.
