So there was actually no service provided by the technician. The estimate we were given was approximately $1,000.00 to work on this door. Yesterday we had it repaired for $158.00. Close to 1/10 the price quoted to us by your company. They also adjusted our other garage door a bit- included in that price. Therefore I must ponder whether the technician did not know what to do or how to repair it, or perhaps we were trying to be taken for a ride to get a bunch more money out of the job by doing unnecessary work. I’m sure all that was estimated for could have been done - which was replace basically app hardware but the door. But why when all other components were working or easily tweaked to get them working. Very glad we only paid the service fee instead of having $950.00 worth of service and parts that apparently was not needed. Can’t imagine we’ll be calling again. The technician seemed nice, but we didn’t need what the company wants to push.

After speaking this morning it looks like there was some confusion when booking your appointment and our company came out to the property but you had a company you had been working with for the last 10 years and meant to have them come out instead. Due to this our service technician did not charge the service call fee to show good faith since we were not the company you originally meant to call out. At Precision we look at the garage door as a whole unit and we make recommendations for repairs or service keeping in mind what is going to give our customer's the most longevity out of their garage door. We are happy to hear you were able to get the a repair done to the door for at a much lower cost.
