From the initial phone call to final handshake, service is great. All in the same day, which is often hard to find. Had a broken 26-year-old spring, installed new nylon rollers and upgraded to the 10-year warranty. Service technicians were really knowledgeable and performed the work quickly. He diagnosed the problem quickly, told me the price, and then fixed my garage door. The entire process took just less than an hour. Marcus is a five star employee. My 31 year old garage door gave out on a Saturday. Went to the Precision web sight and used the 24 hr/7day appointment scheduler. Took 5 minutes total time; 2 days out. Simple, responsive and quick system. Scott notified in route prior to scheduled time. He quickly defined the primary failure and outlined 3 options with pricing to fix my door. Scott was very focused and efficient throughout. He estimated 90 minutes and hit his mark. Professional, personable and efficient. Highly recommend based on my experience with the front end scheduling, onsite communication and technical work performed.

Our garage door was inadvertently locked and then when we tried to open it with the outside controls, the door jammed. Wasn't sure what to do, especially with the door slightly buckled in at the top. We had used Precision Door a couple of years ago when we replaced the very old [and noisy] door opener and were very pleased with their service at that time- so I called them again. I called around 4 PM and they said they'd have someone here around noon the next day. Fortunately, after releasing the catch, our technician- James- was able to release the locking mechanism. He straightened out the door where needed, made sure everything was running smoothly, showed me some things I didn't know about the inside controls, and, after I asked, wrote me up a quote for replacement doors- which we will do at some point in the future. I was very happy to pay the service call fee. Great job!

I use Precision in Portland because, having recently moved here from Tucson, I knew of the excellent experiences I had there with Precision. The service is reliable, pricing is reasonable and the service people have always been knowledgeable, professional and courteous. And they always get there when they say they will!

I selected this company because I had used them in the past and was impressed with the quality of their work. The problem was that our Genie keypad was unreliable, sometimes opening/closing the door and sometimes no response. After consulting, considering the fact that the keypad itself was fairly new and the rest of the system at least 7 years old and possibly older, we decided to go with a new system (motor and all). The new system works very smoothly (and quietly). And so far, reliably. One issue: When I first called them they told me they would be at my home by 2:30 the same day. I called at 2:30 and they said I wasn't on the schedule! They were extremely apologetic and admitted their error. I have forgiven them!
