Installer did a great job hooking up the new opener. Wish he would have lubed the rollers but I guess that’s not part of the service. I should’ve done more research on the product before buying over the phone but it is better than what we had before.

Our garage door motor died on us and we immediately called the company that had installed and serviced it over the years. A week later and we still had not heard back from them even after placing several follow up calls and leaving voicemail. I finally decided to look elsewhere and called Precision Door on Friday late afternoon and they had us scheduled with their technician Brent for the next morning, a Saturday, with no "after hours" or "weekend" upcharges. Brent called Saturday morning to let us know he was on his way and he arrived as scheduled. He immediately got to work and had us up and running again in less than 2 hours. Brent was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Bonus is that the new motor comes with a lifetime warranty. I will be calling Precision from on and recommending them to anyone that should ask.

Overpriced and know it. They charged twice as much to reset the door as the company I used before. Refused to give an estimate over the phone knowing they would hold the service charge over you. I still haven't gotten a receipt for the service despite 2 phone calls and 2 emails.

Thank you for your feedback. We are unable to give estimates until we see the problem on the garage door itself. At that point we can give an accurate estimate. Approval before work begins is MANDATORY for every customer, every time. You are given the chance to decline, discuss, or move forward. We do that to avoid exactly this. In your case specifically we never charged you the service charge so its not possible for us to hold it over you. The copy of your invoice you were given both through mail and email reflects this. We will happily issue you another if you would like. We would still like to remain your garage door company in the future.

I originally wrote a review the day of my service giving 5 stars for outstanding service. I want everyone to be aware of what happen to me. I have a home warranty service which unfortunately did not cover service with Precision Doors. I needed my garage door to come down right away as I already had went a night with my house unsecured. Brent explained that I needed to replace the entire tension bar which cost me 1400.00. He said my motor was also inoperable, but I decided to have the home warranty send some out. Brent did not even hook the garage door back up as he said the motor was broken. I paid 70.00 for someone else to show up two days later. I was with the guy when he simply hooked the bar back on and pushed the garage door button for it to work perfectly fine. So not only did I waste an additional 70.00 but it also makes me feel like Precision Door was not honest and maybe took advantage of me in the whole deal. Had I not had the home warranty I would have bought a motor from Precision. I will never use this company again just due to not knowing if they are being honest and just trying to get you buy things that may not be needed.

First one I encounter on the website (online). I've tried to call O-Brien garage door repair no response, so I pick Precision. Also, with the brochure and or with Military discount. Although the initial fix did not completely fix the problem, because it recurred, Caleb came back and determined that the motor was intermittent and was going bad. In this condition, it could do its job one day and the next day, not. He recommended and I agreed that a new motor was called for. He outlined the best course of action and completely fixed the problem. Caleb is a true professional, no doubt about it. Thanks to him and to Precision, my door is functioning as it should.
