On 03/11/2023, Sheridan Abad, service technician for Precision Door Service made a house call to repair the broken springs on my garage door. Sheridan arrived at my house 3 hours after I made my service call. After reviewing my original problem, Sheridan pointed out other areas with parts that were damaged or cracked that would soon fail. His explanation was easy to follow and understand. By pointing out these additional problem areas, Sheridan saved me the cost of additional service calls when these parts failed. Because Sheridan is an instructor for Precision Door Service, the repair time was very short.

Sheridan Abad did a superb job replacing a broken spring on our roll up garage door the same day that the problem was noticed. He arrived on time and also replaced worn bearings and rollers in a very efficient manner. He had all of the new parts in his truck and wasted no time in completing the repairs. It was like we had a new door when he left. I was very impressed with his knowledge and how quickly he completed the job.

Travis performed a complete rebuild of my 19 year old garage door; rollers, springs, cables, bearings and new belt drive garage door opener. Travis was professional and knowledgeable in his work. The quality of work was excellent. Travis was on time and pleasant. The entire job was well performed. I typically use diamond certified companies because quite frankly I have never had a bad experience with any service from a Diamond Certified Company. Tony Ramirez did a great job diagnosing and solving our garage door opener problem. Since our opener was at least 25 years old, it made sense to replace it rather than repair it, and Tony had everything he needed for the job on his truck. He got the job done quickly and efficiently and took plenty of time to explain all the new features. I don't anticipate needing another new opener in the near future, but if I did, I'd definitely call Precision Garage Door again!

We have used Precision Garage Door Service for many years with different issues. This time we had the arm that holds the door opener to the door fall off as bolts worked their way out. We decided to replace the garage door opener as it was old and worn. We needed a couple of parts and we were told this opener had a backup battery and right after he left I pulled the car back into the garage and the power went out. I called to get 1 broken spring fixed on my garage door, When the repair person arrived i showed him the broken spring. He told me i needed 2 new springs, new side door rollers, 2 new cable drums and new cables and i needed my opener motor tuned up. I was quoted between $285 to $300 on the phone so that's why I agreed to have him come out and was told the service call would be $69.99 but cut in half if i used them for the repair. His first estimate was $1400! I told him i only wanted the springs repaired and he said he would not it unless I replaced the drums and cables for $960 as he said they were wore out and the bearings were bad. He never opened the door or even touched the parts he said were bad. Needless to say I told him no thank you and he asked for the payment for the service call that I did pay. I called another company and they replaced both springs for $380! I called Precision to complain about my estimate and the service call payment I made for the unfair estimate as I believed I was baited and switched when the repairman showed up and was told the manager would call me back to discuss the problem. No call back ! Beware and read the 1 star reviews before calling them.

I did finally receive a voice message from Mr Cespedes stating he was sorry for the experience I had and that he was sending me a refund for the service call for $69. It’s been 2 months and I have yet to receive it so I am still very disappointed with this company.
