Precision Garage Door Service Of Plano

I will highly recommend doing business again with this company. Communication was clear and consistent all the way up to the point of service tech showing up to my door. My service guy, Evan is honest, courteous, and professional service tech. He was reasonably quick given the amount of work he had to do. He recommended a “rebuild” given my house is from the 1950’s and the previous home owner barely did any upkeep. The garage door itself is from the 90’s. I initially knew it was going to need a lot more work other than realignment and lubricating the moving parts but didn’t know what to expect. Evan did a full survey within 15 minutes. Made a list of everything it needed, broke it down to me in order of priority (in case I didn’t feel comfortable doing all the work in one go), he didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t need like a whole new garage door or new garage door opener ($$$$) he made it easy to make a no pressure decision on the spot. He listed everything out in front of me in real time on his iPad. All the parts I needed he had them ready on the service truck so no running around trying to finds parts or special ordering anything and coming back at a later time. Once the work was done looking at the parts and craftsmanship, everything is quality. I understand now how they back up a 5 year warranty on parts and labor. Thanks Precision garage door and Evan! You got a life-long customer now!

First time using Precision garbage door company. I was well pleased with service. Same day service, repairs I needed done timely and affordable price. Well pleased. The serviceman Gilbert I would rate him a 10.

Well, last April I was happy when they came out on a Saturday, late afternoon and replaced my springs for $1500. However, several days later still not working and they came out on a Weds evening and worked till 11 PM for another $1500 and installed the new motor with new keypads and remote controls. However, my garage door is stuck open now. I called at 4:15 on a Sunday, and I can't get any service. But of course, this is for FREE, and they're not making a sale of $3000, so they can't get anybody out. So I am very dismayed and irate ... Today is Sunday, and tomorrow's Monday. I will not be home as most people do work from 8 to 5... this is very frustrating to have to leave my garage door open all night and all day tomorrow... Very poor service when it's FREE for followup repair after the purchase..

Great team of people and always on time! Have provided great service and installation
