We’ve been seeing the ad for Precision Door Systems of Maine on TV - When the spring on our wooden garage door broke we knew who to call. We were able to get scheduled right away and within 2 days Brandon came over. He was a great technician who helped us get our broken spring back in shape on our older wooden garage door. He’s very professional and made 3 proposals for repairs and upgrades. When the lowest proposal price was way out there he was very kind to get back to the drawing board with a more realistic estimate after checking in with the boss. We got the springs, pulleys and cables replaced as well as getting new rollers for a better price, although it was still way more than we had expected. We also had thought that this upgrade would make the Craftsman chain operated garage door opener work better and we tried greasing the rollers in the track with spray - But the cold temps seem to have an effect on the door opener when pulling it up and it still gets stuck. If you get Brandon as your technician you can rest assured he’ll get the job done right!

The garage door wouldn’t shut using the clicker or using my program in the car. I got an appointment very quickly and the whole system was inspected thoroughly. We discussed partial options on my at least 10 year old system and I decided the safest was to replace the whole system. The installers were super helpful, polite, and a pleasure to deal with. I will certainly recommend this company to anyone looking for help with garage door openers.

Went over everything with me and had everything on the truck, which impressed me didn't have to leave to go anywhere... Very knowledgeable about his job and explained every aspect about what I needed… Gave me three or four options on what I could do with no pressure... very friendly and courteous easy to talk to and seemed happy to be there helping me out...A+++
