I needed to fix the spring in my garage. I called on a Saturday and got an appt that day. The technician texted me when he was on his way.He was 2 hours earlier which was perfect for me. He finished by the time he should have arrived. Had the spring on the truck. My previous company would have had to come and measure and then order. Luis was friendly and professional.

Precision has been out to my home twice to figure out why my garage door would not open with the remotes or the keypad. The same tech came both times and was very friendly, courteous and professional. I have had this garage door opener for about 12 years and never had any issues with it. The first time out he found a wire that needed to be replaced which he did and the door worked for a few weeks... All of a sudden it stopped working again. I contacted Precision again and they sent the same person who worked on the door the prior time. This time the tech replaced another part/wire on the other side of the garage and it appears that it is now working perfectly.

Eddie installed our new garage doors today. He did a wonderful job! Our new doors open and close perfectly and look lovely. Eddie was friendly and explained the maintenance and care, and left the garage and area very clean. It was nice to not have to clean up after a worker, very much appreciated. I reached out to the company to have garage trim and garage doors replaced. I was very clear about needing the trim done and was advised the company offers the trim work. We received a 4 hour window for the estimate appointment, which is very inconvenient. Our tech advised that they don’t provide the trim work. We did receive an estimate for the doors alone, which was substantially higher than a quote we received elsewhere for both the doors and the trim. We wasted our time waiting for an estimate from a company that could not provide the services we were very clear about needing from the very first interaction.

We are very sorry about the misunderstanding. While listening to your call, it was obvious that the customer service representative wasn't exactly sure what you wanted. In fact, in our terminology we install weatherseal, which within the industry is known as trim. Again sorry about the miscommunication. We check our prices against our competition regularly. It's very rare that our prices are higher than our reputable and established competitors.

Daryl did a great job with getting our (heavy) garage door back into operation. Rather than simply purchasing a single coil spring, he convinced me that it would be well worth it to do an overhaul (Springs, bearings, cables, drums, etc). He was thorough, quick and had everything picked up within an hour.

The technician was a very polite, knowledgeable young man who worked efficiently and neatly. However the price was outrageous - $500 and change for a spring (one was broken, the other was replaced as well)replacement. I will not be calling this business again.

The price you paid also included the service fee and a tune and lube (which includes us tuning all mechanical parts on your door). This service does come with a two year warranty. For the record, most garage door companies offer a 1-year warranty on new doors and 90-days on repairs. Chet Shrader was great. Professional, friendly, explained everything, clearly knew what he was doing. I had hired another company to service the garage door and it had been left in an awful state. It was not balanced properly and the rail was not securely mounted, causing enough flex in the rail that the trolley was hitting the ceiling, not allowing the door to open. The other company told me it was a really hard problem to solve, were saying I might have to hire a construction contractor, etc. In under 2 hours by himself, Chet was able to rebalance the door, remount the rail, and as a result the door was operating very smoothly. I was worried I would forever be a bit scared the garage door or rail would fall based on my experience with the other company, but Chet's work was clearly stable and made me feel safe.
