We were in an emergency situation and the response time and service were fantastic. The phone dispatch person was cordial and caring, while the installer was highly experienced. We were well taken care of and the problem was fully solved. I thought we would have to wait a few days but he did the repair work on the spot. Our door went from an always noisy operation to smooth and quiet. We were 100 per cent satisfied.

Richard did an outstanding job reviewing the findings on my door and replacing the broken spring and installing a new weather seal. He is very professional and takes pride in his work. Precision Door has maintained our door since 2003 and did a door overhaul in 2011 which included replacement springs. The invoice was clearly marked Lifetime Warranty Parts and Labor. I was extremely disappointed when Richard explained the labor is not longer covered due to a company buyout or whatever. The lifetime warranty was one of the main reasons we decided on the door overhaul in 2011. I don’t care what the transpired with the change of ownership. Existing agreements should be honored under a grandfather clause. This is the reason I am giving a low review, even though the repair work was top notch and Richard is an outstanding technician who unfortunately had to deliver the bad news to us about no labor coverage. You can adjust my billing and I will be glad to give a 5 star review.

The local manager called immediately and the issue was resolve and it was all due to a misunderstanding largely on my part. I would say Richard McCann was the best service representative that I have encountered in years. This was an emergency visit and we were his last call at about 9:30 PM on a Friday night! Yet, he was so personable and caring and explained clearly what had happened with our broken spring. I was shopping for new garage doors when mine broke in early Nov. I contacted Precision after seeing an ad on tv. Gary came out the next day and was very professional and got back to me right away. After Gary gave my order off to the next person that’s when things went down hill. Brent reached out to confirm my order and get payment info and forgot to get my billing zipcode for my card and 4 days went by before calling me back to correct the issue, pushing my order out even further. After finally getting the door ordered 2 weeks went by and I reached back out to Brent to follow up and that’s when he said my door had been in and wasn’t sure why someone hadn’t called me to set up the install. He told me to wait on a call from the install department and I’d hear something within 30 minutes. 4 hours later I called back because no one has called and finally got it scheduled. The day of install no one had shown up at the scheduled time so I called and as I was leaving a message, Luke called me to ask if he could come earlier to install it because he wasn’t busy. I told him I was expecting him at 8:00 based off what I was told from the install department and he assured me he was on his way. He was told I was scheduled from 10-12, not 8:00 like I was told. Luke and his helper did a fantastic job with the install and I’m over all happy with the door. However, the in between process was an absolute nightmare and very frustrating.
