    Spring broke in half on our 21-year-old garage door on Thursday after hours. Made an online appointment with Prestige to come assess on Friday. Brent texted he could come earlier than original appointment. Pleasant articulate young man arrived, assessed the problem, and gave us three option quotes: 1) replace only the necessary parts with a 1 year warranty, 2) complete a hardware overhaul (spring, rod, cables, anchor hinges, nylon rollers) with lifetime warranty (+$400), or 3) complete a hardware overhaul plus a few additional things and install a heavy duty belt-driven opener with all the bells/whistles (+$1600). We went with option 2. Brent had everything on the truck he needed for the overhaul and two hours later he was done. Door works great, opens smoother and quieter than ever, and less than 24 hours after it broke our door is working and we have peace of mind with that limited lifetime Warranty. Excellent response, workmanship, and service. Could we have gotten the same work for a better price? I have no idea – all I know is the work was done promptly, professionally, and well. Things wear out and it’s good to know you can still find responsive, reputable companies who employ good people to do good work for a fair price and without a hard sell. A+++
