I had previously written a poor review of Precision (I believe on Angie's List), after a visit prompted by a promotional offer, in which the garage door rollers were replaced with nylon rollers and adjustments were made. I indicated I felt Precision was just trying to sell me more parts and service. As it turns out, the technician was exactly correct: the door spring WAS under-sized and weak, and the stress on the opener caused internal plastic gears to strip out. Kurt from Precision came out, gave me a full assessment of the door, hardware, and operator, and completed the repairs in a very reasonable time - about 2 hours. He replaced the single torsion spring with 2 springs, replaced the stripped gears, and made necessary adjustments to the door, rails, and operator. He was courteous, very knowledgeable, and professional. I now heartily endorse Precision, and would recommend their services to anyone!
