The garage door spring broke on Saturday morning! I called Precision Door Service because I remember that the last time that I used them (2014) that the service person stressed that they worked on weekends. Upon calling, I was given a time slot, by a live person, Amber, of 12 noon to 2 p.m. Kirby arrived about 10 minutes early. He laid out the options to my wife who selected the service that we wanted and Kirby began work and was about through when I arrived home at about 12:30 p.m. Just as he was preparing to leave he noticed that the belt had missing notches in it, which would eventually lead to another service call. He offered to fix it then or to come back on Monday, with the awareness that no one could predict the time of complete failure of the belt. Since he had no other appointment at the time I selected to have him fix it now. After securing the part, he did so. Upon completion of the work I noticed a light leakage on one side of the door. Kirby was very agreeable to adjusting the opener to resolve that problem. Another thing that I liked about the service, even though I was not present when he arrived, he took the time to explain in detail how the failure likely had occurred and why the door was so hard to open with the spring broken. Kirby was very personable and professional in his approach to repairing the garage door. The only thing about the service call that was a little distasteful was the need to replace parts other than the broken spring. Kirby explained the reason for that was so that a 1 year warranty could be offered. The big plus with this service call was the availability of a Saturday repair (when needed/wanted) and the pleasant attitude of the service professional, Kirby. Thank you.

We have two garage doors at our restaurant, unfortunately one of latches was bent after some wear and tear, which wouldn't allow us to open it all the way. We made a call this morning, and I was blown away by how fast Kirby got here. Kirby was exceptionally helpful, and made everything very easy to understand. He made sure to explain everything before he even began working. Within 5 minutes, he checked out the problem, and was already installing a new latch.

I had to call Precision Door after my company I have used over 10 times and spent over 2k with failed to show. Christopher Brown came out looked at the door ( was a bit noisy and I was concerned ). Chris cage out and inspected everything and advised me everything looked good and didn’t charge me for any unneeded repairs. Since he was nice and they came out and did a free inspection on a Saturday I had them quote me a new garage door. I will be using them in the future for sure!

Waited almost 6 weeks for door that was suppose to be ready in 2 or 3 weeks. I finally had to call - no word from them. Hurriedly brought out the doors the day I called and door did not fit. Had to have another one brought over from Mobile ( not the one I ordered.) The guys who put the door in were wonderful and did a great job - but was disappointed in the entire experience.

The Precision technician who installed new garage door springs and bearings, at our home, was very professional. He explained what he needed to do before he performed the work and quoted an estimated cost. The repairs were completed in a timely manner and the area was left clean as it was before he arrived. It should be noted the technician arrived on time on a Saturday afternoon. We were pleased with his work.

Service was O.K. I asked the service man to replace the rollers in our other garage. After he finished that job, he pressed the button to close the door but it would not close. He said there was a short in the system, and started looking into it, but I told him to just leave it alone. We have never had a problem with it and even opened and closed it the day before. I am not accusing him of causing it, but it does seem strange.

I had been referred to VES by a associate from Lowe’s when I found out they did not carry tension springs. But upon calling them they told me they would have to call me back when they found out when they would be in my area. So I decided to see online if I could find someone in Daphne that could do the work. Upon looking I found Precision Door show same day service and I called. True to your word I got an appointment later that afternoon. The appointment actually happened later than planned (due to the prior install taking longer), but tech called to let me know. When they were on the way he gave me another call to let me know. When they arrived they did a through inspection, gave me options an explained any questions I had. They were very efficient in doing the work and completed the job in a timely manner. Very pleased with my experience.

Called the Company to inquire when they could do a service call, they sent Nathaniel the same day. He advised me It would not be cost effective to repair old unit, and installed New unit with 5 year warranty. He explained Pro's and Con's in repairing Old opener vs installing new one.
