Not only did he know how to analyze my problem he was able, and willing, to communicate clearly the problem and solution to me. After the repair was done he made certain that I saw parts that represented the issues he had noted. While I did not observe him throughout his job, whenever I did appear he was working diligently and safely. I believe I noted the door being made secure at one point to assure his own safety. The folks from Precision Door were extremely prompt and professional, even though I decided not to pursue my keypad project. I left a message on their website on Sunday afternoon and with a few follow-ups, got a technician to visit and make an assessment on Monday afternoon. Turns out my garage door motors are too old for adding a keypad on the outside of the garage, and I didn't want to spend the money on new motors. The technician agreed and didn't try to sell me something over the top.

I am very disappointed with my experience dealing with your company. During web chat I described my issues and asked a quotation. You told me replace an Lyft Mastet 8160 etc will cost around 700 dollars. Then I set up an appointment. When your service man comes he told me everything was wrong to fix them and gave me an estimate of 3100 and 3700 dollars. This is absurd. Now I was still charged with 69.95 dollars. Actually I have coupon of half off the visitation. Now I paid another company to fix the problem at much less cost.

I very much appreciate your repair guy being able to come out same day and he was very nice and knew what he was doing. I take responsibility for authorizing the repairs, but I handle purchasing and payables for a $1 billion business. I know about contracts and pricing and keeping customers happy. I also do most of my own repairs on my house and cars. I could have done this repair had I the time. I just needed my garage door to open and didn't have the time to go to Home Depot and work on it during the week. Charging nearly $600 before taxes for 2 torsion springs is just obscene and is price gouging in my opinion. Unless there's something I don't know, 2 springs at Home Depot are about $100. So are your springs significantly more expensive/better than what Home Depot sells? Your guy spent about 90 minutes to 2 hours at my house. Since you don't charge hourly, I don't know what you charge, but even a high end auto mechanic only charges about $175 an hour. So that would be $350 in labor and $100 in parts, so $450 at most. $600 is just taking advantage of a customer that needs to get their garage door open and in my humble opinion, it is no way to run a business.

From initial contact through completion of service, all staff contacts were wonderful! Initial contact until completion of all services was all done in lass than 24 hours, over a holiday weekend at that! Their 24 hour service is really what lead me to them because of the holiday and I'm so happy I called these guys! Our technician, James, was punctual and friendly. Not only did he complete the needed service but he went above and beyond to ensure the issue doesn't happen again, at least the parts that were in his control. He tested everything and even greased it all up to keep the noise levels down. Honestly, the garage was probably waking the neighbors and now I can't even hear it from inside anymore. I'd absolutely recommend James and the team. Although I hope not to need service again, now that it's resolved, but should I need something else, I'll absolutely reach back out.

I had a broken garage door spring. I called Precision at 10 am on Saturday and Paul Brinkman showed up at about 2:30 pm. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional; he slowly and clearly explained the function of each part of the garage door, suggested various levels of options for fixing the problem and a best way to do it for a long run, no pressure. I ended up replacing the springs, ball bearings, pulling and cables. I am very happy with the result, except the final price is much higher than I originally planed to spend.
