To simply put the Garage door back on track and align my tension cord cause it came undone on one side was gunna be almost 400! That’s without any new parts lol. If I wanted new parts the price went up to 560, 730, and 1040$ and that’s just for new wheels and two new cords with rollers for the cord. lol can get a brand new door opener with installation for less than that!

I thought my motor was not working but when the technician, James Walker arrived he showed me that the drop down cord had been moved and that caused the motor to stop. So what I thought was going to be a new motor, was just a quick lesson on how the drop down cord works! I told him I only had one controller but have two cars. So he was able to give me a new controller for my second car. I'm very satisfied as I now have a second controller and also got a refresher on how the drop down cord works.

Alex came by to help get our garage door opener installed. I had installed the opener but I kept getting error codes. Finally, I decided I needed to call an expert. Alex came by and got the garage door opener working and gave me honest advice about the condition of my springs, wheels, and garage door. He gave me signs to watch out for issues that could become problems in the future and didn't push too hard to oversell anything. Great service!

Any time you can't get your car out of the garage it's an emergency. We feel very fortunate to have picked Precisiondoor to replace a broken spring the same day. In 2001 I installed the door myself and it lasted this long. Travis, the technician recognized other potential future problems because of there useful life coming to an end. It made total sense to follow his recommendations. Hopefully we'll be good for another 21 years.

I was quoted around $650 plus around $30 service charge plus tax on the phone for a garage door opener replacement, but when the technician showed up he said it would cost around $1200. I told him about the quote but he said my garage door needed a belt drive and the motor would cost $1200. I then insisted that I just wanted whatever I was quoted but he said that the price I was quoted did not include the track or remote. Just when I was about to send him off he said he would not charge me for the track but he still charged me for the remotes. I ended up paying close to $850. This is not honest business practice and I just can’t recommend this place to my associates, friends, and family. By the way, after he left I realized that my garage door simply just wouldn’t close (came right back up after closing half way). Luckily he was still on my driveway and I had to get him back to fix it.

I got the pleaseure of paying $70 to have a pressured sales upgrade pitch. Went from spring replacement at $500 to min of 1800 or ultimate of 2200. I had another company come and replace the springs and rollers for 1/3 the price. I am so very glad I did not go with Precision.
