Life gets messy. After Helene, the garage door quit, and we just lived with it. The heat, the humidity, the pile-up of small suffocating problems started to become the status quo. Justin showed up, found the issue, walked us through fix-versus-replace, and ended up replacing everything with a strong warranty, after explaining how much more quiet and lighter the new system would be; no longer requiring a two factor authentication team lifting strategy to manually open. He was professional, easy to talk to and explained things without making us feel talked down to - more like new employees excited to watch and learn. That kind of presence matters when you have been putting something off for a year. The door faces east-west, so the garage used to turn into an easy bake oven in the summer. Being able to open it and get that hot suffocating air moving out, is a night-and-day difference, and one that not only keeps our bedroom above the garage cooler, but helped us to realize we were merely temporarily hard pressed and not actually suffocating at all. I hear some people actually PAY to turn rooms into saunas, and we have ability to just have one for funsies, so long as we leave the garage door closed.. on purpose now of course. We doubt they let you request techs by name, but if Justin is the one who comes out, just know it wasn’t luck or coincidence - simply someone who cares, is great at the job and even better with people.
