I saw Precision Garage Door Service on a TV commercial. I had them out in January and had some extensive repair work done on my garage door. One morning when I was pulling out to go to work I bumped one of the Rails and one of the rollers came out of the rail. It had been less than 90 days since their first visit, so they came back and fixed it and didn't charge me a dime. Both of the technicians I worked with were very professional. I would recommend this company to anyone.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a professional service! In November I had a hung garage door and chose to go with Precision Overhead Door of Kansas City since it is name you can trust. I do not trust them. After reading the reviews it is clear that I am not alone on the amount of up-charging they do. I was given a quote for over $1500 to fix it long term. I was able to get the bare minimum down to about $475. Money was really tight for us and that was all we could afford. Then when they came to do the work, they tacked on another $150 because it was harder than he thought, so I had to borrow money from my kids Christmas fund. Then after he left, I tried to open and close the garage door at which point it fell of track again. I called to have them come out only for them to tell me that I needed 2 new springs for $575. I told them again that I could not afford it and they gave me a discount for $465 to replace the springs. I said that I would save the money to do the repair. Finally at the end of January I had enough money saved to do the repair. When they came out, they said that the price had gone back up to $575 after trying to get my wife to sign a waiver to do it for $800. I called and spoke with Alex, who was nice when he wanted to be nice but overall was very condescending every time, we had an interaction with him. He made us feel stupid and talked down to us. He explained that was a 1-time discount and they would not honor it. I hung up the phone and immediately called the office. I spoke with Bo, the supervisor over the garage door installation, who was so rude to me on the phone. After I didn't get anywhere with him, I asked for his manager, I cannot recall his name, who was the rudest manager I have ever spoken with. He was the director of operations. He told me that every time I Google Precision it costs them $100 and that I am costing them money. He reluctantly gave me the original quoted price of $465 on the condition that I leave a 5-Star Review. The work was completed but I will not let a company bribe me for a dishonest 5-star review. Instead, I will be honest and warn others. I will NEVER use this company again and will spread the word to everyone I know to avoid a company that is not one that I can TRUST.

From the beginning, Customer Service was courteous and knowledgeable. She provided a ballpark estimate that was competitive with the three businesses I contacted about the repairs. The Service Tech (David?) arrived on time and was polite and courteous. He confirmed the cost and necessary repairs and set-about his work in a professional manner. He completed the repairs efficiently and much quicker than I expected - he clearly knew what he was doing. Overall, in-spite of the broken spring, this was one of the best experiences I've had with a service repair job...many thanks to Precision Garage Door!

I found you online and you service my semi- rural area. I was able to get a quick appointment which was helpful. Daray came out and totally took care of our 4 garage doors. We just moved in so we wanted to get them all working in top condition, get the key pads changed to our code and get all new garage door openers for my family. Daray was courteous, clean, and worked quickly but didn't skimp on quality. He is such a great person!

This was the easiest decision to make! I was scheduled between 4-6pm, I received a call to see if I was available earlier in the day as the Technician was ahead of schedule and I was his last call of the day. I was more than happy to have him come out early. Alex called when he left his last job and said he’d be about 45 minutes away. Alex showed up came in looked at the door gave me an estimate of $350. He began to work in 30 minutes later he was done with a bill for $350. This was the same quote I received over the phone from the person who booked the job, the one thing I would say that needs to be looked at is they have a $15 environmental fee that they do not discuss when booking it’s only $15 but there’s a business they should put that out at the very beginning get some people save money to have repairs done on their homes and $15 could overshoot their budget. Alex was very professional. He was great to my child who wanted to watch it was a quick and painless job. I will definitely come back to precision door and I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone in the Kansas City area.

Garrett Browne was our tech. The call was scheduled for between 4 and 6pm. He showed up just before 5:00 and apoligized for being late. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my door and put together three quotes based on what parts needed/I wanted to be replaced. He completed the repair and then lubed all the rollers and hinges so the door not only works fine now; it is quieter than it's been since we moved into the house. I was extremely pleased with his work and he was very personable. Would absolutely recommend Garrett and Precision Door Service.
