Precision Garage Door Service Of Huntersville

Precision installed an opener for me 7 years ago - not a single problem since. Until today - the door stopped halfway down and beeped - the app on my phone said it was obstructed. I checked - found none and the sensor lights were on. Feeling dumb for not getting routine maintenance I called precision to troubleshoot. 3 hrs later and all is well. One of the sensors lens was dirty! In addition they did a thorough inspection and service. Great customer service!

UPDATE: The manager reached out to discuss my experience and offered to check out the work and then replaced the whole system with an upgrade. I really did appreciate their commitment to customer service. As I said in my review, everyone I spoke with was pleasant. It was just the work itself that needed evaluation, and that's exactly what they did. ORIGINAL: I had Precision fix a broken spring on my door last week. I picked them because they could get me in the soonest. They were responsive and kind and while I knew I was overpaying, it was worth the convenience. Except yesterday the motor on my door burned out. A friend came to replace it and noticed the tension on the spring wasn't tight enough, which I noticed when I had to open the door manually. It wouldn't stay open all the way. He said the lack of tension made the door too heavy and it burned out the motor. So I either have to believe the technician did their job wrong due to lack of skill or on purpose so I would have to call again for a new motor. Needless to say, I will not be using their services again and I just caution others to do their research before calling Precision.

Precision service was professional from setting up service to end of repair. Service Tech Alexander was knowledgeable, honest and efficient. Totally recommend.

Alex Arcanjo from Precision came out for a same day service call for an intermittent issue: door opening randomly. After troubleshooting and discussion, we opted to have a new myQ system installed with motor unit, drive rail, car remotes, keypad and wall control. He did a terrific job and even walked me through installing the myQ app. This is the ONLY company we use for garage door service and have always been very happy with them. We highly recommend!!
