One of the torsion springs on my double door broke. I called Precision in the early morning and a technician arrived shortly afternoon. Her name is Cori Merkel. Her service was exceptional. The job ended up being a complete overhaul including 2 new springs, 2 cables, 2 end bearings, 2 drums, and 1 center bearing. She completely removed the old system and installed all of the new equipment in less than 2 hours. The price was reasonable and the door opens and closes like new. I also have a lifetime warranty on parts and labor. This job is definitely a 5 star. Thanks Precision.

Unfortunately, I'm not pleased. Had a door installed today. The technician left nuts and bolts lay right in the doorway (driving area). Also, broken glass right where we will be pulling in. Plus children with broken glass is not good. The door itself is nice but doesn't have a handle or a lock. I have never seen a door without a handle or a lock.

After reading reviews from other customers, my husband suggested that we call Precision Garage Door to have a technician come in to see if our 22 year old garage door opener could be repaired. Randy Swann and Aaron (in training) made an in depth assessment and told us that it was more feasible to install a new garage door opener (which we knew would be a better choice). Randy showed us three estimates and explained the advantages to each one. Since we were purchasing a new one we decided to go with the third option even though it was more expensive. Since it was installed I can honestly say that it is the quietest one I've ever heard. We were also very pleased to see that they took time to clean up the work area and took all the old parts with them. Randy also suggested that we consider new springs and pulleys. The current springs are not as strong as we should have, given the weight of the garage door. Randy said he would send us an estimate for that as well. I would recommend Precision Garage Door (and Randy) to anyone.

I would highly recommend Tanner Mull as my technician .He is very knowledgeable, pays attention to detail of what you are interested in having repaired ,makes suggestion on parts that may be worn or looked damaged that you might not have been aware of ,offers different service options. The scheduling department is not efficient on appointments they cancel the day of your appointment and want you to reschedule or tell you the tech will be there at a later time there is always an excuse why they can't come on your scheduled appointment. Three of the 4 appointment were not my scheduled appointments.

I called and was able to get an appointment on a Sunday, which was surprising. Randy came on time and quickly began working to install an opener. Randy was polite, professional and didn’t stop until the job was complete. Randy did maintenance on my garage door and inspected it. Randy explained all the functions and how to operate the opener with great detail and gladly answered all questions I had. I have had the opener for about a month and it works great along with the phone app that supports it. I had a belt driven opener installed due to my garage location being under living spaces of my home, which reduces its noise a lot compared to my old screw driven opener which I will be having precisiondoor replace in the future.
