Marcus, our tech, was early on his routes and reached out to us to make sure it was ok to come by earlier than scheduled. He was very descriptive in his explanation of our issues and had multiple suggestions for how to remedy the problem. He did adjust our door to get us back to functioning (the issue is two bowed panels) and walked us through some possible next steps. Very professional and knowledgeable.

Installer did a great job hooking up the new opener. Wish he would have lubed the rollers but I guess that’s not part of the service. I should’ve done more research on the product before buying over the phone but it is better than what we had before.

BE AWARE ----Showed up as scheduled. I had a broken spring on my garage door. The tech came in and looked at the spring. Then he said I needed all new rollers on the sides of the door and that my garage door opener was also bad. What? He had not seen the opener run or even tried it. I said just fix the spring. This led to MORE parts, new cable spools, new cables , and new bearings on the spring shaft. Another 230 dollars more than the 490 dollar spring replacement I was quoted and paid for. Now I had another 230 dollar invoice for a total of 720 dollars. He asked that I open the door manually and the cable fell off. He said I did not open the door correctly! Really? He put it back on and he opened the door and the cable fell off again. So it was never the way I opened the door. Blame the customer. He said the door was fixed. But never even tried it again before he put his ladder and equipment back on his truck. I told him to show me that it was working. It wasn't working. He said he would fix it without additional charges. There seemed to be a lot of up selling. The door now works manually with the "supposed bad side rollers". All for a cost of 720 dollars. Not sure if my garage door opener will work or not. I will need to hire another company to check out garage opener. At this point I did not trust anything the tech said was bad. BE AWARE --- Lots of up selling was going on. Myself, friends and other family members who heard my story had similar stories of up selling and will no longer use this company. VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER!

Dear Mr. Pfeiffer, We regret that you were disappointed with the repair recommendations that were provided by our technician. We always consider safety to be the number one priority in every service estimate. During his visit, our technician identified the following concerns: A broken spring, frayed cables, cable drums that could not be set securely because the shaft was too worn on the end, and worn end bearings, all of which are safety concerns. He also recommended replacing the 20-year-old rollers which were worn and wobbly, which you declined. While we understand that our customers often expect our technicians to perform a simple fix, such as "Just replace the spring...", we cannot, in good conscience, simply perform that single repair when it would not ensure the safe, reliable operation of the door. Garage door components require regular maintenance, and unfortunately, repeated use of the door causes wear and tear, thus, neglecting to service the door can result in costly repairs. In this case, many of your garage door components needed attention, and our technician performed only the work that you had approved. Subsequently, we waived the cost of the replacement spring shaft, and offered to send a second technician out to verify that all work was completed to your satisfaction. We have not heard back from you since then. If we can be of assistance in any way, please feel free to contact our office.

Garage door spring broke on weekend. called several numbers to book appointment for replacement spring. A person answered my call at Precision and I booked a time for the next day (Monday.) The technician arrived as scheduled and after an inspection of the situation recommended replacing several items. I declined †hose add-ons and just had him replace the broken spring.Took him about 40 minutes to complete the task.Total cost for job was $564.14 which I thought was a bit excessive. Cost of springs was $198.00 each spring? Googled price of same springs and I could have purchased them for $175.00 the pair on Amazon? Should have looked at this alternatives before spending the money I did. The repair was carried out in a timely and competent fashion by the repairman.As a senior citizen on a fixed income I will know better in the future.

The springs we installed at your home are high-cycle torsion springs which are designed to outlast other cheaper options, such as those you may have viewed on Amazon. We would never recommend that anyone purchase springs and install them themselves, as doing so could cause major injury; The springs must be carefully wound to a specific tension, thus they must be installed by a qualified technician. We have had many calls from customers who have attempted to service their own doors and sustained injury in the process.
