It is so refreshing when one experiences a commitment to excellence and real world class customer service. Anthony Femano exemplifies these attributes - Precision Door is lucky to have such an employee - who exceeded my expectations in every way. I had Precision Door replace my garage door spring last October, and unfortunately, for whatever reason, one of the coils came loose this past week, breaking off and falling to my floor, only 13 months after I had a new on installed. When I called to make an appointment for someone to come and hopefully fix it, I wasn't sure what would be covered and if my warranty went past one year. I just knew I wanted and needed it fixed, and hoped they would do it as soon as possible. Anthony was my service technician. He called to tell me when he would be coming, later than both he and I had originally thought, and having made the apointment late in the day, I knew there was the possibility that he could run late. He wanted to make sure that this was good with me and that I would be home, as he was 70 miles away at the time. I appreciated the call, and his willingness to come and take a look at the situation. He was personable, professional, and very competent. Anthony took the time to diagnose and answer all my questions, putting my mind at ease by explaining things in a way that I could understand how the parts all work together. He not only was able to fix my problem by replaing the spring, he provided extra parts/changed some rollers to make the door work and sound better as he noticed they were rusty. He stated everything was covered under the warranty and I owed nothing. How wonderful is that? I mean those things rarely happen in today's dog-eat-dog world as many businesses are trying to recoup the "covid" money lost by this pandemic. I truly appreciate Anthony's integrity and commitment to excellence! Not just becuase it was me, but because you can see he treats every customer this way. He does the right thing because it's the right thing to do. Thank you Anthony! Thank God the world still has people like you in the service industry! When you experience this level of commitment to quality it should be shouted from the roof tops! Thank you, Precision Door, for making this right.

Found company online as we were having issues with our original openers (25+yrs). Started with utilizing the online chat feature and within 2 business days we had Technician at the house. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. Anthoney help devised plan that worked for us and inside of 2 1/2 hours he was done installing new openers. The next step will be to pick out the doors we want and have Precision install. Had pricing before Anthony left the house. All-in-all, great experience!!

When I closed my old garage door, I did not see any light coming thru at the bottom..It was over 20 years old so i wanted a new rubber seal put on the bottom. Now that the new one is on , their is a gape and i find no seal between the door and the floor. This is the worst job i have ever seen. Not only does my door not seal, I paid $217.15 for the fix. This is a bad way of doing business.

Did your company meet my expectations? NO. Did they solve my problems? NO The only positive thing I experienced was the tech was on time. Other than that I am NOT AT ALL SATISFIED. The explanation I was given regarding the door starting to close and then go back up during cold weather does not make sense. I was told it was due to the improper track radius being installed when the doors were put in by the company that sold me the opener and the door in 2015. I had NO problems during the cold weather for the first 3 or 4 years of owning the door and opener. And the door opens and closes fine the rest of the year. It only happens when the temperature is below 40 degrees. So how is it the track radius was incorrect? Shouldn't it have been a problem when the opener was installed brand new? That does not make sense. The only remedies I was offered was spending hundreds of dollars on parts and labor to change the tracks. My second issue was not addressed much better. The original wall mounted control panel for the door stopped working completely. When I went to Lift Master's website to order a new one, they sent me a new updated model free of charge. I can only assume there were issues with the original model since my original one is out of warranty. I installed the panel and it worked fine except every other day, the door would open by itself in the middle of the night. Never had that problem since it was installed. The only option I was given by the tech was to replace the logic board in the motor unit mounted the header of the garage opening. And he said I would be better off buying a new one. For a company that claims to be the Lift Master experts on your website, I was a little taken aback that the young man had to call the boss for a recommendation. I paid the $85.00 for the service and this is what I got. I am not at all pleased. I signed the tablet regarding turning down the recommendations mentioned above so I assume there is a snowballs chance in hell getting that money back. Lesson learned. I will NEVER do business with this company again.

Hi John, I'm sorry you are not satisfied with our recommendation. Unfortunately, there is no magic fix for your door malfunctioning, parts will have to be replaced. If you're unhappy with our diagnosis I would recommend reaching out to the company that did the original installation to see what they have to say about the issues you are experiencing. In my professional opinion, these issues can be rather common for an 8 year old door and operator and the solution would be to replace the worn and malfunctioning parts with ones that work correctly. In this case we do agree that it may be better just to replace the unit all together considering the price of repair is considerable, the unit is 8 years old and there is no guarantee that something else won't malfunction considering you already have two separate issues with the unit in that time.

My garage door wouldn’t close without stopping about ten times before I’d force it close. I called my local garage door company, and was put on a “waiting list” and told to wait for a possible call back for a visit. Being that this was a time sensitive issue, I hopped on google and came across Precision… I gave them a call to see what they’d say. I was so impressed when they gave me a close time frame for a visit. Within minutes of my 1:52pm call, I got a text saying my window for a visit was between 2-4pm. This was followed by a text at 2:05pm from our technician, Logan, saying he was on his way! I was so impressed by the promptness and communication. Logan was so personable and kind! He was very knowledgeable and quickly identified our problem. He said he was happy to fix the problem at hand with our current system and was putting zero pressure on us, but wanted to let us know that our garage door springs were on their way out and that it could pose a danger, especially to our small children. We discussed some options and decided to swap our system to a newer safer option. Logan had everything right in his truck to do the job - there was no waiting, no future repair appointment to be made - he got it right done then and there! I am so impressed with this company and with Logan! We absolutely recommend this company to anyone who needs anything done that is garage door related. We’re blown away by Precision’s promptness, the technology and communication use, and Logan’s professionalism.

I have been in Customer Service my whole career except in the military and Vietnam for a total of 6 years. I have been a customer service manager for up to 90 repair personnel at one time!! I can't say enough for Precision sending Scott to my home to repair my garage doors. He was very pleasant and professional along with caring to do a great job. Our garage door failed over the extended Labor Day wknd and after unsuccessfully attempting to correct the issue myself I decided to call in a pro. After googling, I was given a prompt appointment scheduled for the following Tuesday. Scott replaced the rollers, springs, cables, and the bar and recalibrated the system. Not only was he professional and friendly but he made recommendations to improve functionality and safety. We have a double door and when we purchased the house there was only one spring so if yours is similar do yourself a favor and ensure you have two. Although we’re selling the house we made sure to have both installed for safety purposes. This company provides fast and efficient services with competitive prices and friendly staff. I definitely recommend using them and will do so myself should the need arises.
