I wanted to get a 2nd opinion regarding my garage door on Nov 12, 2025 and called Precision Garage Door Service of Raleigh. They were able to send out a technician same day. The technician agreed with the 1st opinion (I need a new garage door) and explained issues with my current door. The technician provided me with quotes for 2 doors and a brochure with different options. He explained some of the different options and how these affect the price. So I have the estimates and I would feel very comfortable buying my new door from Precision.

I've used Precision for all of my garage door and opener needs for many many years. In this particular event one of my garage door springs broke when operating and jammed closed leaving one of our cars locked in the garage. What I liked most is that I called about 1pm and they had the technician (Devon) out to our house within just two hours. What I liked second most is that there was a lot of damage to the mechanism and many parts damaged and that the technician had all the parts needed for the repair on his truck. What I liked next is the technician worked solid for about 3-4 hours and stayed and completed the repair by about 6pm, in spite of 100 degree temperatures and made sure everything was working 100%.
