First of all - great ongoing communication via email and text. Second - the honest service was somewhat unexpected with standard services charges and such in today's small business. But Precision is different- the technician did a safety check, listened to my concerns, shared feedback, and quickly assessed the issue and resolved it. My door is over 25 years old and good as new ... $70 service call. Easy recommendation for anyone needing quality door services. Thank you-

Not happy that my garage door broke in less than one week after installation. Just got my car out in time before the screw came out and the door was mot functional. Called for service and was told no tech was available for 2 days. Advertising is deceiving. Sounds like evening service that does not exist. Called Paul who sold me the $3,700.00 garage doors and he was able to repair it the next day.

Mr. Sambangi, First, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to service your garage door. We appreciate your business. Unfortunately, the type of spring system you had left us no choice but to replace all operational parts of the spring system. You originally had a Torquemaster system, which is designed and manufactured by Wayne Dalton (now known as Nation Serve), and we have always replaced the entire spring system for a couple of reasons. First, the replacement parts available for the Torquemaster are only available through Wayne Dalton and do not come with any warranty through the manufacturer, and usually only come with a 30 day warranty on the labor, depending on who installs the parts. Second, we install torsion spring systems with a Lifetime Warranty on all of the parts installed PLUS the labor. That warranty stays with the current door, and all future doors, for as long as you live in the home. We use parts that are designed to Precision Door specifications for serviceability and longevity so that we are not charging our customer every time we are called out. We train our technicians so that there is total transparency when dealing with a Torquemaster system, and to give the customer all of the options that are available to them to fix their problem, even if it isn't through Precision Door. I talked to Craig about this, and he assured me that he did vocalize an option that it could be repaired by another company for right around $300.00. Every one of my technicians have been trained to say the exact same thing. I'm sorry for any confusion that may have occurred during the service appointment that led to the need to submit your review, but our intent is to provide the best service PERIOD. Obviously we fell short, and for that I apologize.

I was not present but my mom said the installer was polite. The house is white, but Precision installed a grey door. Why didn't Precision call to let us know the door was not going to match the color of the house?

I did an internet search, I recall doing business in the past years ago, anyway, Aurelio Santucci did a great job. I have over 45 years of maintenance experience so I recognized his thought process, his experience was obvious by performing his approach and steps to repair, I agreed with not only replacing the broken spring and added a second spring, replacing the roller, shaft bearings, cables, and the final adjustment of chain tension. Really professional installer and knew his work well. The installation went without hiccups and the technician (Aurelio) is great at communicating about progress and making sure the installation was going as planned and to my satisfaction. The old rotten wood door was removed cleanly and with no damage to the garage or litter lying around. The new door was installed with no issues and cleanup was practically flawless. I did have to pick up a few electrical line holders (the little fanged things that hold the electrical wire on the ceiling). I was warned to take a second look which was helpful since it brought my attention to a few of these small items that flew off into the corner of the garage. There was absolutely no trace of the debris or old door when the installation was complete. The opener and remotes were explained to me and everything was really smooth.

Mr. Aurelio Santucci job performance was excellent. He was on time - calling ahead giving the time he would arrive. Mr. Santuccie explained all aspects of the new garage door opener including the wall control, 2 remotes, and wireless key pad. He took the old open and left the area clean. Last year we used Precision Door Service for a tune up but the unit died after years. The new one operate great and is silent. Like all the features it has.
