Prompt and job was done good. Only Issue is the price. Cost of each spring is $100 and for two springs it was $200. It is way above the average. I called the main office and gave them the details. The manager did call me (which I appreciate) and explained to me the reason for markup. I told him that 40% markup is way above the industry average. I did see an average of $200 to replace garage springs, but precision charged $324 which I feel is too high. My suggestion is to do a cost research before hiring Precision.

Initially we thought the problem was with the safety sensor. It turned-out to be a bad circuit board. The safety inspection also found some age-related issues. We decided to go ahead and replace the door opening system entirely. Everything was explained, easy to understand. Pricing was pretty much what I expected.

The technician arrived about 30 minutes earlier than planned, but he called first to make sure it was OK. He explained the pricing options to replace the broken parts on one of my garage doors. The prices seemed very high, but I wanted to get the work done that day, so I reluctantly agreed. He completed the work in about 30 minutes, showed me what he did, and explained the 3 year parts warranty. I paid by credit card using his tablet, and my invoice was emailed to me later. I was happy with the work, but I think the parts are very overpriced. This type of work can be dangerous to do yourself, but next time I will use a different company due to the high cost.
