They showed up. They fixed it… it goes up and down now. They were friendly and seemed competent. I needed new springs. They suggested I replace the cables too. I usually get nervous about any upselling, but in this case, it made sense to me (those are the 2 load-bearing components after all, and they were going to have it all taken apart, so…). It wasn’t that much more. So in the end, I’m choosing to be grateful for his expertise. I didn’t compare prices, but it didn’t seem outrageous or anything.

Great technician, efficient.But not cheap cost.

I was surprised I could have gotten my springs replaced on Sunday if I would have called in about 15 minutes earlier. He inspected my door system and was ready to recommend more things if needed. Kind of a soft sell. He commented my opener was 30 years old. I know and I told him replacing the opener was not a big deal. He was understanding. I think the springs were overpriced but it was done quickly. The tech knew what he was doing. I would consider doing business with this company in the future.

Response from initial call in was very quick, Technician , John Glasky called before arrival and was very professional. He explained what issues we had with garage door opening/opener and what options we had for repair work to be done by allowing us to decide how to proceed. He did what was authorized properly and tried to make sure all was working as it should. We couldn't get our vehicles programmed to be able to open the garage door from our car but separate remotes, keypad and all working fine. Professional, quick response, and helpful.

My name is Eugene Gonzales not Gonzalez. We contacted another garage door repair company on Friday am and were told that they would come in the early afternoon. They didn’t show so I called them back I was told that their service man had called and I had not responded so he didn’t come. I explained to their office person that my phone is set up to silence calls not in my contacts list. We set up an appointment for Sunday morning. I changed my phone setting to allow all calls. I hadn’t heard from them at 0900 so I called them to verify the appointment time and was reassured that everything was set up. They didn’t show up on Sunday. They never called me but did send a text which I didn’t read until around noon. I decided to call you and got an appointment for Monday afternoon. You called Monday am and told us you could come that morning which you did. The service was very good. your man did a thorough evaluation and gave us options. The only bad part was the cost. We had not replaced the springs in some time so we were surprised at the $900+ bill. Nonetheless we are happy to have our garage door working again. Thanks.

Left oil on garage floor

JOSE did a thorough job and educated me on the needs for now vs. general maintenance for the future. I was disappointed only in the fact that I was charged a disposal fee and there was nothing removed to dispose of as well as we used my own supplies to oil the wheels and hinges. I asked him to show me where I was to spray for maintenance. He adjusted the sensors and checked the balance of the door. Just adding on fuel and things makes the waived $89.00 kind of a farce. Other than that, they were on time and did suggest $1600+ worth of things that may be needed in the future.

Just came and checked what is the issue with Garage Door and made simple adjustments where the issue got solved

I was pleased with tech service, however , when I called the company about the FSED charge. They hung up on me. I just wanted to know what that charge. My service call fee of $95 was waived because I opted to have service done. I did not understand the added charge. My total should have been $21.31 less. I just wanted an explanation.

I Gooled garage places, since a dire situation had been created, and it was getting close to closing time for most businesses. Dana, the most patient, helpful recipient of the call was More than exemplary. A friend ultimately resolved the problem, but an appointment was established to get an estimate for a new door to replace my older one. Chandler, the young man who provided the estimate was very polite, professional, and the estimate reasonable. I will get 2 more estimates, but felt Precision Garage Door went above and beyond to help this white-haired damsel in distress! YES to all above questions. THANKS to you all!

Good experience with Precision Service. Received a message that the technician was on his way. Arrived in the time period promised. Analyzed the problem with a "loose cable", told me what had to be fixed, and also things that might need upgrades in the future. Had the parts to correct the problem and installed new parts on both doors. Everything works fine. The technician was very knowledgeable in his work and answered "all" my questions. Will certainly use Precision Service again in the future if I have any garage door problems

The installers were polite, professional and efficient. But I think I paid too much for door and installation. I should had shopped around.

Tech came out replaced the other unit and tested system , did a good job i would recommend them for garage door work. The only negative about precision is the garage door system they installed just 3 years back failed and the warranty was out. they don't even make that unit anymore.

Ron, the technician, was courteous and professional, and met all expectations. He was great and fixed the problem! The work: keypad replacement, garage door tune-up including fixing that the door did not close completely on one side and replacement of 10 roller wheels. The job took about 40 minutes to complete. The total cost (service charge, parts & labor) was about $550. The cost struck me as higher than expected, although I did not obtain estimates from other companies.

Precision Garage door was able to come to my home to repair a broken spring the day it broke! Grateful for that. The customer service phone people (both times I called) were very helpful and customer service centric. They also took the time to verify my info, and verify the time my tech would arrive. Devon, our service tech, assessed the situation, gave me a full detail of the cost, and then got all the work done in approx 30 minutes! He explained the mechanics behind what he was doing - while not making me feel stupid. He was friendly and conversational.

Precision was the first garage repair that popped up on my search. The ad said that I would get prompt reliable service. I called on the weekend and I had a repairman at my house at 8:30Monday morning! He called when he was on the way and was very quick and professional with his service. Although I hope to not need to call again, if necessary, I would if I had cause.

Really, really happy. The tech, Josh, was great. My door needed a new spring, roller, cable, etc kit. He had it in the truck and within an hour my door was working so well, I was amazed. I found out this is how a garage door is supposed to work.

We had a spring snap. I connected online to set up repair. Had coupon for ‘free’ service call and half off for 2nd spring replacement. Tyler, the technician gave multiple estimates for the cost for different repair items…just springs, springs and bearings, and springs, bearings, & rollers. We had options on the scope of repairs and cost. We choose to replace all of the items. The door now opens and closes like new. Tyler was efficient and helpful with information I asked him about. A couple of things I didn’t care for included putting a company sticker on my garage wall without asking, (I removed it and placed it on the garage door in a less visible spot), and he left greasy fingerprints on the door I had painted last year…(They wiped off pretty easily). The cost of the service was kinda steep if you ask me - inflation? I didn’t shop around or get other estimates…who has time for that? We also never got a detailed receipt of services preformed. The warranty is good for 5 years but I have no paperwork to save and look back on in case of any issues, other than the sticker which I put a date on. Overall I’m satisfied but the hole in my pocket hurts.

Explained the problems, showed me what I need to know to make an informed decision; gave me a temporary solution until my new door comes and was extremely professional. Our door came down without a warning. Precision sent technician Mike (A) - McClellan over right away to repair it. He did a great job, and was super professional, knowledgeable and timely! Great job!

My door and motor were 21 years old. The motor was failing. Precision had received high ratings on a neighborhood website so I called them. The techs came, surveyed, and gave me two estimates. One was replace the motor with a one year warranty the the other was replace motor and all hardware with a 10 year warranty. Both both estimates saved my current door. I chose the 10 year warranty job because I assume the price was reasonable and I was tired of tinkering. The new door was up and operating in three hours. Three weeks later, the door was making a screeching noise. I called Saturday and the tech was there Tuesday. It was an install problem. He had it fixed withing 30 minutes. I hope this is the last I see of them, however, there is a 10 year warranty.

I have used Precision three times now and each time they have been professional, timely, and courteous in their response. The reason for 4 stars in my opinion is value. I find it a remarkable coincidence that the parts used only carry a two year warranty, and yet somehow they seem to fail just after the two years have past. I guess these manufactures have really figured it out. Secondly, after I or anyone has to replace or fix their garage door out of necessity because something broke, please don't have the repairmen hand over the ipad with multiple tipping options anywhere from 10-25% for a 1-2 hour job. I appreciate the man's hard work and his time, and probably would tip him accordingly, but why is a company that is established and as well known as you are allowing this. It's putting the customer in an awkward position to feel like they have to give an extra ($68 - $171 dollars in my case as a thank you). It's not like I had a choice and I'm ordering steaks. It's not right. Precision should consider a better way of handling this in my opinion.

A little pricey, but you can't argue with the quality of parts & service! Tech Orion Mancini did an outstanding job of solving our problems and setting us on a path to trouble-free garage door operation. We definitely recommend Precision--if you want it done quickly and correctly.

Scheduling was pretty easy and the technician (Sean) arrived within the scheduled window. Sean installed a new keypad and replaced two door springs that showed excessive wear and tear. He made a thorough inspection of the hardware and pointed out a few things that we need to keep an eye out for.

Craig K. installed the doors and did a magnificent job. I also have new openers and spring systems.

They come quickly--very important when you can't get your garage door down. Their tech, Christopher Brown was fast, competant, and amiable. Got it fixed in record time, $150 is resonable considering this was a weekend and I only called on Friday--yay!

Great guy who fixed our garage on the day it wasn’t working and did it well and now it’s working

Everybody I worked with or talked to was great, installers and salesmen. I requested an extremely quiet door opener and was sold one that rattles when closing. That’s my only issue. I was told it’s called the “genie stutter” and is common among genie door openers. I just wish I was told this prior to purchasing.

Was just installed today. Can’t really review the new opener. The installation went well. No problems. Justin did a great job. So far, very happy.

The technician that came to our home was Steven Thayer. Very knowledgeable and professional. Fixed our door in an hour. Runs wonderful! Give him "a pat on the back".

Great response, mechanic arrived within 30 minutes of our call and fixed the broken spring in another45 minutes. Not sure why we were charged a $23 fuel surcharge when the mechanic arrived in less than 30 minutes from our call. He was not arriving by airplane.

I googled for a company that could fix my garage door opener. They had a great website and made it easy to schedule. They seemed anxious to do business. Bryan the Service Tech was great. He explained all my options. He had everything done I asked for quickly and efficiently.
