So far, so good - hard to judge the date of install. Installation went well and site was left clean. The immediate question is why the 34.95/month internet app access charge was not mentioned when Precision sold us on the operator’s web access. A friend has a competitor’s app with no charge!

The experience booking service and receiving service was all very positive. The two-man team who came to my house called 30 min before arrival to confirm the time, they were very polite, and arrived just as promised. They determined the issue (one of my springs had broken) and told me that I needed new springs at minimum and recommended new pulleys, new wheels and new cable and safety cable. They gave me 3 estimates (good, better and best). I was shocked at the cost! When I called to make an appointment and asked for a basic estimate I was told that there was no way they could give me an idea of price. My time was tight, so I went with it. Basically, I ended up paying over $1000. Now maybe this is just what it costs, but had I been given a rough ball park range of possible costs, I would definitely have Gott en more estimates. It would have given me some peace of mind to know that this is just what these things cost. But as they had already arrived and would charge me $85 for coming, I agreed to proceed. The service was good, the people were. charming and efficient, so all that was positive. My only reservation was that I had no advance warning that this is what it would cost and no way to back out of it without losing my $85 service fee. Yes I recommend them, but first get estimates from other companies before you call this company. It is worth paying a little more for the best, but it is important to know what other companies charge before making that decision.

The only concern was the high price. Everything else was good.

The service was great but $220 for less than an hour's labor seems a bit excessive.

Mike, the installer, was great, but I had to follow up 4 times with the office to get the documentation of our lifetime warranty. No return call until I said that I might write a bad review or stop payment on my credit card.

Precision was recommended to me after having poor service from another company. Their response time for my problem was very prompt and professional. Zack was my technician and provided excellent workmanship and was very helpful and courteous in every way.

Purchased garage door from Home Depot and Precision was their installer. Quick appointment to measure garage opening with a Precision employee who was very professional and explained exactly how process would go. We knew it would take several months from date of purchase to date of install due to fabrication at factory. Finally had install date along with confirmation email and phone call. On that date, no one showed up; no one called; not anything. That is the reason for my 4 stars instead of 5. I was never given an explanation even after calling Precision the next morning as to why I was ghosted. Given second install date. This time Sean and his partner showed up as promised. They worked half the day and we couldn't be more please with the outcome. Great job guys!

The tech was on time and extremely polite and professional. The receptionist on the other hand almost caused me to hang up and go other service provider. My history and past performance with this provider was the only reason I did not hangup.

Timely service, easy to arrange

Michael called ahead and arrived on time. He was very courteous and friendly. He said that he had heard that the rubber gasket on the bottom of my door was no longer available but I just ordered it on Amazon for $75. His quote for a new gasket was over $400. He also gave me a quote for a whole new garage door which was over $3,000 which I didn’t ask for. You should have been able to replace my rubber gasket in my opinion.

Every6thing went well. Lucas, the tech, was thorough and efficient. He also explained the entire process and reviewed everything with me before he left.

Thank you for a job well done. Joe came out the first day and was able to get the door back down and gave me my options. Shaun came out with another young man (I can not remember his name) and they did the install. They were very good, they cleaned up when complete and made sure I was satisfied with the work done.

Mike, the associate who fixed our garage door springs was professional and friendly. He was on time and gave us good options. The advertisement of springs starting at $140 is a little misleading. Labor and other materials is not included.

Tech did a good job replacing worn but still functional door parts.

Andrew was very accommodating in providing services for us that involved rekeying our key pad to utilize for our garage door.

Alex was extremely personable, professional and helpful! He explained my issue as well as the corrective action. He pointed out several other issues and was very honest and forthright in his explanation. The same job that cost $236 five years ago cost more than double that this time. Other than the cost, this was a very good experience.

I really liked Alana who put together our estimate for insurance. She is totally awesome. That being said a mistake was made on the estimate where the garage door opener dollar amount was not issued to insurance on the estimate. We spoke with her and decided we all make mistakes and offered to pay 250.00 out of pocket for them to install the garage door opener. We were told they use a standard genie garage opener at the cost of 499.00. All was fine until the door was installed and we went out and seen they installed the cheapest genie opener valued at 160.00 that appeared it was for a 1 car garage. I would also like to say the installer of the garage door & opener was awesome as well. That’s not good business practice especially since it was their error. I’ve called to have them remove and refund our money for the garage door opener. They agreed but to date the money hasn’t made it back to our card. I intend to report this to the BBB.

Courteous and friendly, Greg went out of his way to explain and educate. A+

l had a complete overhaul of 2 garage doors. Everything except the doors and tracks was replaced. It was quite pricey, but it seems to be a quality product. It was a very hot day, and it took the technician about 10 hours to complete the job. Maybe sending a second technician would have been a good idea. At the end of the job, the technician was very tired and the clean up was not as thorough as I would have liked. Screws that could have caused a flat tire were left on the floor and in the driveway, and dirty hand prints on doors.

Explained the process and asked if I had any questions. Fixed my door, cleaned up his work area. Paid our agreed price and he was in his way.

I would give it 5 stars but I am not sure about the price. Could be great but had not done the research because I didn’t know what was wrong. But the techs were great. Explained the issue, answered any questions I had and did the whole thing in 45 minutes. If I ultimately find out it was a good price I would give them a 5.

We were kept aware of the technicians arrival time. He explained what the problem was and had a quote ready for us. The job was completed in a little over half an hour.

I had a spring broken on my door on Sunday. All other GD business were closed. My car was stuck in the garage and the door was to heavy to lift. I was very happy to see Precision was open, and they were at my house within a few hours. AJ the tech was very polite and very knowledgeable. He had the spring fixed and tested and out the door within an hr. Very Pleased.

Gregg Taylor came out and did a great job explaining things. The one thing that I was disappointed in was that he said he would email me quotes for the three options for the garage doors and that did not happen. Otherwise, he was very friendly and informative.

Everything was fixed so well and it great time! Thank you so much.

A bill of 234 dollars was to me a bit pricy, even with the discounted service charge for lubrication and maintenance on the garage door. Carlos, the technician, did an admiral job within 25 minutes. We tested the door together to check out any problems. I am happy with the results.

I had a broken spring spring that was replaced and upon inspection I was advised that I also needed the cables and rollers and other items replaced which were also replaced. I was impressed with highly skilled technition and the speed and quality of the repair. He was very professional and courteous. The only issue I have is with the cost. E.g. almost $500 each for the price of each spring costing $1000 for two springs is totally outrageous. This is the only reason I rated your company 4 stars instead of 5

Was able to schedule service call for next day as garage wasn’t accessible with door cable not functioning.Technician showed up on time and was very pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. Although it cost a lot more to repair the door than I expected, it was done well and quickly. ( a little over an hour). We did have related problems a few days later with the remotes operating properly, but the tech came back and tried to determine the problem with the door opener. It seems to be fixed now.

He arrived in a timely manner on a Saturday no less! Did the work quickly and was very nice. It was way more expensive than I was led to believe when I made the appointment. But the door works now.

They showed up. They fixed it… it goes up and down now. They were friendly and seemed competent. I needed new springs. They suggested I replace the cables too. I usually get nervous about any upselling, but in this case, it made sense to me (those are the 2 load-bearing components after all, and they were going to have it all taken apart, so…). It wasn’t that much more. So in the end, I’m choosing to be grateful for his expertise. I didn’t compare prices, but it didn’t seem outrageous or anything.

I was surprised I could have gotten my springs replaced on Sunday if I would have called in about 15 minutes earlier. He inspected my door system and was ready to recommend more things if needed. Kind of a soft sell. He commented my opener was 30 years old. I know and I told him replacing the opener was not a big deal. He was understanding. I think the springs were overpriced but it was done quickly. The tech knew what he was doing. I would consider doing business with this company in the future.

Response from initial call in was very quick, Technician , John Glasky called before arrival and was very professional. He explained what issues we had with garage door opening/opener and what options we had for repair work to be done by allowing us to decide how to proceed. He did what was authorized properly and tried to make sure all was working as it should. We couldn't get our vehicles programmed to be able to open the garage door from our car but separate remotes, keypad and all working fine. Professional, quick response, and helpful.

My name is Eugene Gonzales not Gonzalez. We contacted another garage door repair company on Friday am and were told that they would come in the early afternoon. They didn’t show so I called them back I was told that their service man had called and I had not responded so he didn’t come. I explained to their office person that my phone is set up to silence calls not in my contacts list. We set up an appointment for Sunday morning. I changed my phone setting to allow all calls. I hadn’t heard from them at 0900 so I called them to verify the appointment time and was reassured that everything was set up. They didn’t show up on Sunday. They never called me but did send a text which I didn’t read until around noon. I decided to call you and got an appointment for Monday afternoon. You called Monday am and told us you could come that morning which you did. The service was very good. your man did a thorough evaluation and gave us options. The only bad part was the cost. We had not replaced the springs in some time so we were surprised at the $900+ bill. Nonetheless we are happy to have our garage door working again. Thanks.

Left oil on garage floor

JOSE did a thorough job and educated me on the needs for now vs. general maintenance for the future. I was disappointed only in the fact that I was charged a disposal fee and there was nothing removed to dispose of as well as we used my own supplies to oil the wheels and hinges. I asked him to show me where I was to spray for maintenance. He adjusted the sensors and checked the balance of the door. Just adding on fuel and things makes the waived $89.00 kind of a farce. Other than that, they were on time and did suggest $1600+ worth of things that may be needed in the future.

Just came and checked what is the issue with Garage Door and made simple adjustments where the issue got solved

I was pleased with tech service, however , when I called the company about the FSED charge. They hung up on me. I just wanted to know what that charge. My service call fee of $95 was waived because I opted to have service done. I did not understand the added charge. My total should have been $21.31 less. I just wanted an explanation.

Dana, the most patient, helpful recipient of the call was More than exemplary. A friend ultimately resolved the problem, but an appointment was established to get an estimate for a new door to replace my older one. Chandler, the young man who provided the estimate was very polite, professional, and the estimate reasonable. I will get 2 more estimates, but felt Precision Garage Door went above and beyond to help this white-haired damsel in distress! YES to all above questions. THANKS to you all!
