My technician was Michael. He was excellent. He arrived right on schedule and immediately got to work. He did an assessment and walked me through all of the things he saw on the inspection. He was very straightforward and professional. After we decided on a plan he fixed the problem quickly. I also really appreciated that this place had availability the same day that I called and had appointment times that were in the evening so that I didn’t have to rearrange my work schedule. Yesterday I received an email from Precision Door for the spring tune up $79 Safe and Sound promotion. I booked an appointment and today Adam called 40 minutes ahead of the appointment time to say he was running early. He was available early and he came 1/2 hour early. Adam informed me he would be doing a 25 point inspection and give me an estimate on anything extra that might need discussed. It wasn't long after the initial conversation he let me know everything looked good. He lubricated rollers, checked the motor, belt, and all other parts. He made a few adjustments then gave me an estimate for a new operator/motor since ours was operationally sound however 21 years old. I was very happy with the work that was done, however I was shocked at the cost. I had planned on using the coupon from ValPak, but the total was over $1,800! I'm sure the parts he replaced needed to be replaced, but I was still surprised at how much they cost.
