I want to sincerely thank your company for yet another outstanding job! In 2021, your team installed a new garage door in our home, replacing the original door that sounded like a WWII German Tiger tank in operation. Ever since, the new door has worked flawlessly. Just yesterday, my wife's remote stopped working. We changed the batteries, but unfortunately, it still would not connect with our garage opener. While trying to reprogram it, I accidentally erased all the memory, which rendered all of our remotes, wall mounts, and keypads inoperable. I called your company and was immediately greeted by your receptionist, whose patience and empathy stood out. She quickly connected me with Andrew, who listened carefully to my situation. Even though it was a busy Friday afternoon and all technicians were booked, Andrew went out of his way to find a solution after I explained I had just undergone my second eye surgery and was restricted from lifting anything heavier than 10 pounds by my doctor. Andrew reached out to Isaac, a sales representative with technical experience, who generously agreed to set aside his regular duties and brave the freezing, windy weather to help us. Isaac arrived promptly and resolved the issue with remarkable efficiency and kindness. We are extremely grateful for the extraordinary service provided by your team. Your receptionist (whose name I unfortunately did not get), Andrew, and Isaac each went above and beyond their job duties to ensure we were taken care of. From skeptic to committed After researching and reading customer reviews, I decided to call Precision Garage Door (PGD) because I was experiencing too many service calls with various problems within months after the last service from my previous company. My first encounter with PGD was with my Nicholasville property. The technician was very prompt and within minutes upon arrival, found the problem; a loose screw if I remember on the Operator wiring plate . He also made many recommendations including: a new motor, installing a second lift spring, and replacing the door rail rollers. He would give me a 10- year warranty. At this point I was frustrated and thought I was being “up- charged." I told him I would consider it and he left. Very polite and professional in his demeaner. Christen’s attitude and politeness laid the groundwork for me to keep this company on my list. As my “luck” would go, my old system died within weeks. I remembered what I was told by Christian. Sorry, I didn’t give it more thought as my system was old, and I had already replaced the lift spring once not long ago. I decided to give PGD one more chance. This time, Justin Byers took the service call found the motor was inoperative. Now, I have no choice but to listen. He presented all the details and made recommendations as I heard the first time which didn’t surprise me. Because of the excellent communications between the PGD office personnel and these two men, I committed. They confirmed the appointment. I was notified ahead of time the technician was his way and so on. One of the best customer communications in today’s service environment. I might add, I am retired but did provide customer service for more than 40 years. I know what it takes to be committed to excellent customer service and to employ technicians committed to your company and to your customers. They listen., I gave Justin the approval to do a complete rebuild and give me the 10-year warranty. When Justin was finished, I was shocked with the quality and professionalism of his work. He installed a belt drive system. The whole unit was so very quiet. Wow! He cleaned up and was leaving. It was then that I asked if he also serviced Lexington. He said yes. I wanted the same work performed at my Lexington residence as my system was old and due to break, especially the lift spring (which was on one side only). I don’t know when companies decided to go from Two springs to One. It just makes me feel better to have a backup spring if one breaks. The next day, Justin was at my place and on time. I received the type of communications and the same quality of work. When he finished, I was very satisfied with his work, the attention to detail such as the wiring and sensor mounts. He was able to install the new lift motor on the same brackets with very little adjustments that I could see, and he did an excellent job of installing the keypads where my old pads were installed. He even took the time to program my wife’s car buttons. I have taken the time to write this review because it’s been earned.
