Today, Sunday, May 17th, my garage door was stuck open after I got home from running an errand. It was higher on one side than the other and wouldn't close. I called Precision Door Service of Memphis and scheduled an emergency service appointment. I spoke with Gabby, who was extremely helpful, kind, and promptly scheduled my appointment. I thought I would have to wait until Monday morning, but Gabby put on their schedule with a time of 6pm-8pm today, which was a relief. To my surprise, I got a call from Tyler K. with Precision Door Service at 4pm. He had just finished a job early and asked if I'd mind him coming to take care of my appointment early. That was the best news! When Tyler arrived, he was the most courteous and professional service person I've had in a very long time. He was able to look at my door and diagnose the problem, and he got to work on it. It was determined that one of my cables was damaged and needed to be replaced. He had to loosen the spring before replacing the cable which he did pretty fast. Afterwards, he adjusted my garage door and had it working better than it had ever worked before. From the first day I moved into my home back in 2001, there was a bit of a gap at the bottom of the door on one side and I could see outside lighting on that side of the garage when the door was closed. I thought it was normal, but after Tyler adjusted it, I can say that for the first time no light can be seen underneath my garage door. He made it better than it's ever been. I can't say enough good things about Tyler and the folks at Precision Door Service. I recommend them to anyone who asks me about garage door repairs.

Called early in the morning before 7 am and someone answered. It was an actual person and not a machine !!! That was a pleasant surprise !!! I was scheduled for that same day between 4 pm and 6 pm. He called to ask if he could come earlier. Another pleasant surprise !!! Once he got there which was before noon and accessed the problem it only took him about 20 minutes to complete the job.

Outstanding service. Highly professional and fast work. I would highly recommend this company for your garage door needs. Yes, I was an actual customer.

I had precision door install a gate opener on the gate on my driveway in June of 2025 and have had multiple problems since.on may 21th of 2026 I called them because my gate had quit opening and closing,they said that it would be a week before they could send someone out to troubleshoot the problem,this was on a Thursday.the following Wednesday a technician came out and determined that the battery charging transformer was bad and that it would cost $150 for the part but it was on back order and they could not give me a estimate on when the part would be available.I called them on the Tuesday 9th of June, Wednesday 10th and Thursday the 11th asking to have someone call me with an update but no one would return my calls so I got on the internet and found the part for $40 so I ordered it and it came today(15th)and I installed in less than 5 minutes. I have been VERY DISSATISFIED with their service and will NOT call them again,there are many more company's in the Memphis area that I call on!!! Also they were called to work on my grandson's garage in Holly Springs,Mississippi and not only did they NOT fix the problem but the were VERE rude to my grandson's wife. I am a senior citizen and US AIR FORCE veteran and I WILL NOT ALLOW A COMPANY to DISRESPECT me this way!!! I finally got a call back from the COO of precision door and he apologized for the confusion and said that there would be a technician out here first thing tomorrow morning.Hopefully this will solve all my problems.It's just a shame that I had to go to this extreme to get some action! Well the technician was here at 7:30am and replaced both batteries and that fixed the problem.Thanks to Canyon Turner and his helper for a job well done.I take back all the bad things I said about them!
