We got our garage door installed Precision Garage door. They did an excellent job t job of it. After the power outrage last year, we switched it to manual and after the power on, tried changing it to automatic. Could not do it. So we called them again to fix it( it was really an easy fix and I was doing it right but not all the way to the end where it clicks and readjusts). They gave us same day appointment which was really nice. After fixing the issue, the technician told me they have service charge plus hourly fees charge us hourly( company policy- was informed about it when making the appointment). I had specifically mentioned when making the appointment that I won’t be home during a specific period which was not noted and communicated to the technician and the technician called around 3.45 saying he was there. The technician was really nice and fixed the issue. Also mentioned that he will have to charge hourly. Considering the issue, ( it took hardly 5 min to fix it), I thought the rate was overpriced since it was not our or the technician’s fault that the message was not conveyed to him. Technician understood that charging us the service fee as well as the hourly rate was excess and charged us only the hourly rate. So I really appreciated that. He also did some servicing ( lubricating the wheels and also checked the system), which was truly professional. 5 stars to the technician for sure but just a feedback about communicating customers not being at home that affects the charges should be taken more seriously.
