On a morning filled with several Christmas To-Do appointments and a very cheerful mood, I went to open my garage door to only hear a loud bang as my door ascended followed by a snapping sound like a whip. My garage door fell off its track as I immediately shifted into “OH NO” mode. My garage door had clearly failed and I was faced with who could I call and have someone respond without delay. I remembered seeing a comercial earlier that morning from Percision Garage Door Repair and saw that as a sign. I called and spoke to a very pleasant and reassuring receptionist who confirmed they could have someone respond within a five hour window. Less than two hours later I received a text from Technician Antonio Mendoza confirming he would be arriving within ten minutes to complete my garage door repair. Upon arrival, Antonio who was driving a Precision Garage Door Company Truck and wearing Precision Garage Door work attire and ID introduced himself and quickly assessed the problems with my garage door. The cable on the right side had clearly snapped, but Antonio was determined to figure out why, as he said cables don’t normally snap on their own. He inspected the pole brackets on each side of the door and established they had failed causing the cable to snap. He took photographs and removed one of the brackets which showed significant wear and signs 🪧 the bearings failed. Antonio explained in detail what repairs would be needed, and made additional repair suggestions with photographic evidence the repairs should be completed. Once all the necessary repairs were completed, Antonio lubricated each of the working parts of the garage door, made certain the sensors were property aligned and made certain the garage door was efficiently operating as part of the entire repair service. I was highly impressed with the professional manner in which Antonio presented himself and the time and attention he gave to my garage door issues. He was very patient with all of my questions and explained himself in a manner I could easily follow. I would recommend Precision Garage door repair without hesitation and Technician Antonio Mendoza who clearly knows his craft and is a great representative of the Precision Garage Door Brand. Not that I hope to ever need another garage door repair again, if I do, I will definitely call Percision again without looking any further. Great Job Antonio!
