I have double garage doors. The spring on one broke and I couldn't open it. I called the manufacturer and they transferred me to Precision who came out that same day. The technician verified that it was a broken spring as well as at least one cable and recommended a rebuild on my 13 year old door. He recommended I do the same with both doors as the second one was showing signs of future failure. He quoted me a price and I accepted it with the understanding he would be back at 8 the next morning (Saturday) to do the work. The next day he was on time and I asked him if he had a military discount (I'm retired Navy) and he discounted that from the price he previously quoted. Before he left on Friday I asked about another dual opener and he remembered to bring that with him. The door that didn't have to broken spring has always given me a problem about 6 months of the year due to the lower angle of the sun I had to hold the installed opener throughout the cycle to get it to close and could not close it all with the openers in my vehicles. He realigned it so it works properly. Only time will tell if the job holds up, but he worked quickly and efficiently and gave me the impression of really knowing what he was doing. I don't know how the cost compares to other companies but I would not hesitate to recommend Precision for any job related to garage doors.
