I have double garage doors. The spring on one broke and I couldn't open it. I called the manufacturer and they transferred me to Precision who came out that same day. The technician verified that it was a broken spring as well as at least one cable and recommended a rebuild on my 13 year old door. He recommended I do the same with both doors as the second one was showing signs of future failure. He quoted me a price and I accepted it with the understanding he would be back at 8 the next morning (Saturday) to do the work. The next day he was on time and I asked him if he had a military discount (I'm retired Navy) and he discounted that from the price he previously quoted. Before he left on Friday I asked about another dual opener and he remembered to bring that with him. The door that didn't have to broken spring has always given me a problem about 6 months of the year due to the lower angle of the sun I had to hold the installed opener throughout the cycle to get it to close and could not close it all with the openers in my vehicles. He realigned it so it works properly. Only time will tell if the job holds up, but he worked quickly and efficiently and gave me the impression of really knowing what he was doing. I don't know how the cost compares to other companies but I would not hesitate to recommend Precision for any job related to garage doors.

My garage door wouldn't open & I called Precision because they had done a great job putting in my garage door 5 yr ago. I was able get same day appt. Tech came out diagnosed problem. My 16 yr old opener was not working. That afternoon my new motor, belt was installed. Techs did a great job. They were efficient, knowledgeable & very professional. Update: Feb. 22, 2026. Very pleased with Alex's knowledge & service. Very personable. I was pleased with the consultation and did not feel "pressured" by Alex to "have to make a decision" that day to purchase! He went above & beyond just replacing\installation; he entered my codes and connected my vehicle to the garage door opener. The Price was within $50 of other garage door service company and approximately the same as a neighbor's cost of the same service, a few months ago. I gave Alex: Five (5) Stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷ Called on Feb. 21st. Very nice Phone Receptionist. Told her my Garage Door Opener was in the "locked" mode and wouldn't "unlock". She told me she could have someone out between 8-10, next day. I ask for a later time. She said between 12-2pm; I said great. I ask how much the Service Call would be, she said there was no fee; I said, even if I choose to not do the repair? She said, yes. I couldn't believe it! Alex called 02/22 @ 11:04am, said he coild be here in 15-minutes; I ask if he could make it 11:30? He said yes and arrived @ 11:30am. Alex determined the board was bad; as had the person I spoke with earlier; @ the company the unit had been purchased from & installed by in 2007, but said it was not repairable, without even doing a service call. After telling Alex the problem, he checked out what I had told him & he gave me a price to replace all the needed parts. Alex gave me options...1, replacing the board & parts; compared to 2, replacing the motor & parts. The wiser choice, cost wise, was to replace the motor & parts. Alex had the job completed, by himself, plus programed my vehicle by 1:15pm.
