The main spring in our sectional garage door failed late Thursday night, letting the door drop with a crash as it was near closing. Lifting that door was near impossible without the spring working with us. On Friday morning, I contacted Precision Door and made arrangements for a repair in the afternoon. Jeff arrived about 2:00 p.m. with a spring conversion kit and a truckload of other parts needed to return our door to a condition that now exceeds the performance of the garage door when we bought the house new in 2017. Jeff took the time to educate me on the limitations of the old door spring and the conversion to new, easy-to-maintain, external springs. He completed the job in record time and then paused to lubricate every moving part. Then he reviewed what he had done so that I will be able to do routine maintenance on the door to keep it operating well for years to come. I'm grateful for Precision Door and for Jeff responding so quickly.
