I had a Lift master garage door opener fail. It gives you a diagnostic code to tell you what electronic component has failed. When the technician arrived I handed him the owners manual and advised him about the test and what part it said it needed. He advised me that they do not do electrical repairs on the units and that I would have to replace it with a new one. I had checked on the availability of the parts before he arrived and every part in the unit is available. I was advised that the capacitor was bad and it could not be replaced. The diagnostic did not show this being bad but it is available as a stand alone or as part of the replacement board. The replacement parts are reasonable in cost. I'm sorry but I feel this is a sneaky way to do business. If you do not do electrical repairs on the unit you should advise your customers of this before sending someone out. I asked him to order the part and I was advised that they do not do that, but I could order it and they would install it. My unit was 8 1/2 years old so rather then get the part I opted to buy a new unit( not from Precision $$$) and have them install it. On the upside the Technician Mike was outstanding. Totally professional. Sorry I do not feel that way about his company

I've used them twice this year (each time a different person) to replace my 2 garage door openers which where damaged from power surges a few months apart. Your service technicians were very good, informative, and on time. I have just had springs replaced in the home I moved from in Hobe Sound and the price was considerably less-- by half. I am very willing to pay for quality service/products but thought this was a little too much.

Hector arrived late in the appointment window, however he had called previously so I knew when he would arrive. He was very courteous and professional. I asked if I could observe because I wanted to learn how these springs are replaced and he was gracious enough to not object and even answered my questions about things. He provided three estimates and clearly explained the work that he would be performing and also made other recommendations on how to properly maintain the door.
