I thought that it was very over priced. One hour of service 2 springs and rollers over $800. Not what I expected, the repair person was good and nice but could not explain the pricing and bill did not clarify it.

Dear Mr. Weldon, We provided you a rebuild of your garage door. This includes replacing the counter balance system (Springs, pulleys, lift cables, safety cables, and rollers). This basically made your door system new (the only thing we didn't replace were the door sections, which were in good shape). This rebuild came with a 5-year warranty -- same as the new doors we install. The price may seem high, but most of our customers see the value when they realize they got all new parts on their door for about 1/3 of the cost of a new new and also received a new door warranty.

I ordered through the web site and was told a price over the phone. Since I was not home and my daughter took care of this. I was surprised to find out that the belt driven opener was not installed but a chain driven one instead. I saved some money so I accepted that. The one I had was chain driven. Yet, what I didn't like was for the money. I have no button to close the door standing @ the door in the garage. If I don't have the remote. I would have to walk upstairs to push the button and open. No key pad outside at all either. That's a rip off for the money. I'm a builder and we own and build multi-family. All our doors have a key pad. I'll stick with- overhead door-Company for the next one.

Dear Mr. Tatarian, We are sorry you feel you didn't get exactly what you wanted. It looks like your daughter decided to go with just a head swap -- we only replaced the actual motor not the rail or other features. This did end up saving you over $200, but does come with significantly less features (like a key pad or extra remote). Those were add-ons with the option your daughter chose. Again, we are sorry your daughter didn't go for the option that provided the features that you wanted.
