Very rude technician came here to assess the garage door opener issue. He pulled the door off the opener. Charged me $120 for some inspection that he didn’t do. I don’t have any paperwork on the problem. Then he left leaving the door open and off the opener. I had to climb up to get the door closed. Very heavy door. So much for safety. Horrible service.

We are very sorry you felt the experience wasn’t what you expected. Honestly that doesn’t sound like Mike at all. We have shared your review with Mike and discussed it in detail – trying to make it a learning experience. In addition, I looked at your paperwork and did see that Mike had done a safety inspection (the results were emailed to you at the time of the appointment, and we resent them again today). The results of the inspection showed quite a few areas that needed attention. First, the springs that were on the door were oversized. The company who put them on tried to under wind them to try to “make them fit” – they must not have had the right size springs with them. This resulted in hot and weak spots within the door movement. This also causes premature wearing on other parts as well as the motor. In addition, the rollers were worn beyond their useful life, and we also suggested upgrading a part that had a plastic bushing and rusted lift cables. Mike reviewed these with you as indicated by your signature on the estimate. I believe that is when you threw your check at Mike and said… “Thanks for nothing” before you walked in your house and slammed the door.

Needed an evaluation of my garage door due to hearing new noises upon opening. Mike M promptly arrived on time and immediately assessed that a tune up could possibly alleviate the noise. He performed the tune up and it greatly improved the operation of the door. Mike was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Would definitely use Precision Door again if needed.

Mike ( technician) was great! Very helpful, on time, explained everything, pointed out other suggestions or options I could consider. Fixed the garage door problem pretty quickly. I feel like the price is very reasonable given the service and ease of use. Mike even showed me where to do twice a year lubrication of some of the garage door parts for longer life. Highly recommend service and Mike ! !
