Update: After my first review, customer service for Precision Overhead Garage Door Service reached out promptly to see what they could do to resolve the problem. They were accommodating and eager to find a solution. We agreed to replace the entire door and lift system for a fair price, taking into consideration the previous work already done. The installation team completed the new garage door today and did a good job. Although I ended up replacing my entire door earlier than I anticipated needing to, I really appreciated the goodwill and willingness of the company to resolve the issue. . . . . Initial review: We had a poor experience with this company. We had a dented panel on our garage door preventing it from opening/closing. The employee who came out to assess the problem said that the problem could be addressed by replacing the dented panel (or upgrading to an entirely new insulated door system, which did not suit our needs for an outdoor garage). After taking two months in the middle of winter to source the replacement panel, a different employee came to install the panel and disagreed with the original assessment—saying that we needed to replace two panels in order for the door to function properly. Two months later, the door has stopped working again.

I couldn't be happier with how quick, easy and nice my experience was. I was able to get a same day appointment, they texted asking for what the issue was (and I was able to send photos etc), they kept me fully updated on the time the technician would arrive. Josh G was wonderful. He was super nice to talk with, explained the issue and my options very clearly, and did quick work to resolve. I really enjoyed working with him.

The whole process was super easy and straight forward. I had an issue with my garage on Memorial Day Weekend, and they came out and fixed it in a timely manner. Gafur was super helpful and knowledgeable. Great service all around!

I had just gotten home from an unscheduled emergency visit to my veterinarian in the pouring rain and I pulled into my garage. Hit the remote garage door close button when WHAM! BANG! Josh came and repaired everything that same afternoon. He’s a great guy, was knowledgeable and got the job done in a short period of time.
