WOW!! When our garage door spring snapped, we knew that we needed to have it replaced. We had NO IDEA what a big job it would be, though! Precision was the first place we contacted, based on voluminous positive reviews by satisfied customers. We were able to schedule a convenient appointment online right away. Our expert installer, Javen, contacted us to let us know his ETA. From the moment he arrived, he was polite and knowledgeable, asking questions and sharing possible issues and resolutions, including quotes for a variety of springs. Once we decided, he got busy, diligently working to resolve our problem. Once the springs were replaced and new sensors installed, Javen tested the system and alerted us that we had another issue: When the spring broke, the weight of the door was too much for our old motor, so it was no longer functioning. Ugh! Javen was equipped and ready to replace the motor right away, which was such a relief! But our 1971 garage is not very deep, and a support beam for the house is right in the middle of it. There was no way to get a standard rail to fit! We were bummed, but Javen had the best attitude: He said that we would figure it out and get a working garage door in here, one way or another! I can't tell you how much his confidence and reassurance helped us, especially since we had just purchased springs that we wanted for more than decoration... Javen reached out today, to let us know that he had modified a rail to fit our unique space! Who would've thought we'd need a custom garage door motor rail? Ha ha! We were pleasantly surprised that this was even possible! Javen took the time to reach out about a convenient time and then kept us in the loop when he had a firm ETA. Upon arrival, he got busy right away, and HE DID IT!! We are now the proud owners of a whole new custom Genie system, and we could not be more pleased with the entire process. We are so glad to know that Precision has our back, and that they have such high-quality specialists on staff. Needless to say, we Highly Recommend this company, and we would Definitely use them again! Fingers crossed, we would get Javen again!
