A different company set me up for an appointment for Monday 4/22 with a 5 hour service window (1 to 6). About 2, got a call asking to reschedule. I canceled and began looking for a different company. Luckily, I found Precision. I was able to get a 4 to 6 appointment THE SAME DAY!! Even better, you sent Jameson Leach. You have a real winner in him. He was wonderful!! Extremely competent and very pleasant. We are very pleased.

I give Brian Bergstrom a 5 STAR RATING. He was friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I am very satisfied with the repair work on my garage door. It now operates very well. I give the company a 1 STAR RATING for charging an unreasonable 3% credit card processing fee. I am very unhappy about this and have never been charged a LARGE FEE for using my credit card. I wasn't given the option to pay by on-line bank transfer and could have as I had the funds available. I was only asked if I would pay by "credit card or check". I chose not to pay by check as it would be a hassle.

We had a wooden garage door that came off the rales and cracked in several spots. On a Monday evening I booked an appointment online but decided to switch to another day. I clicked on chat and someone responded immediately and politely switched to the day that worked best. Chris came out to our home in Apple Valley the day after I set the appointment and assessed the problem. With the door beyond repair, he quoted us on a new garage door that was a very fair price. When you are given a window of time, Chris emailed and called to let me know when he would arrive. I recall him saying that they will install the door and you will not have to call back because the job will be done right the first time. On Thursday of the same week, Install Team-3 called to let us know when they would be there which was appreciated. Ripping the old door and installing the new door only took 2 hours. The two guys that came out were friendly and did a great job. We are very pleased with our new garage door and the service was top-notch. Anyone who needs a new garage door or repair, they don't need to look anywhere but Precision Garage Door!

I saw the TV ads and decided to do a little research. There were lots of good reviews. The ads said they come with a fully stocked truck which is a real plus. The service was great from the time I placed the call to schedule the appointment all the way through the repair work. The tech (Chad) called with the time he'd be there, a picture was sent so I knew who to expect. He thoroughly reviewed the door, the motor, the spring, all the hardware. He was very friendly, explained everything, gave me an assessment of the condition of the garage door, the motor, spring, and hardware. He gave me an estimate of the work I had requested, showed me the parts needed, answered questions about the life expectancy of the other items, including routine maintenance. Then he replaced all the door rollers and fixed the bent track. I paid, got an e-mail receipt. Quick, efficient. The door works great. I highly recommend this company.

We called for a repair to a broken spring. The technician said he recommended a new door, while the motor unit still works fine, nothing wrong. Out of inconvenience our tenant, we decided to get a quote for the single door garage, the quote was on the high end, but again, we had a tenant and didn’t want multiple companies to quote, we finally settle for a new door and motor. The installation would take place in two weeks due to scheduling delay, they had the supply. The installation day went okay, however; the garage door didn’t have a handle to match all other doors in our association and the installer said he had to return another day to complete the handle and fix a feature (vacation mode) on the remote unit as it wasn’t working properly. We paid the work order in full on the day of installation. We then schedule for February 1,2024 as a day for them to put on the handle and fix anything else that didn’t work the first time. Precision invoice ADDITIONAL $108 for the handle! This invoice came after a total payment of full parts and labor for like/same garage door style as the HOA. I’ve email and asked to confirm PRIOR to them coming on February 1,2024 that the handle should be included in the total cost paid already. They send a technician out and again, I confirm prior to him doing that work that we already paid in full, which he confirmed and remembered processing payment in full! I’m frustrated with this company because they didn’t keep their word. I’m looking into calling BBB to report this incident.
