Service persons were here on time; they did a great job and explained everything to us about care and directions how to use everything. The door looks great and it is so quiet! The belt driven door is so much better than our previous opener. I also love the wireless key pad. Thank you so much.

It should be 4 stars. Right after I wrote the review above, I went out to put the door down and it would not stay down. I had t have another service call to have some adjustments made. It works perfectly now. He was early for the second service call. I am happy with your company, and will use you again; however everything was not perfect so 4 out of 5 stars. I give 5 for perfection. I never intended it to be 3. I must have done something wrong. I am not perfect either!

Precision Door is excellent. Let me say that I am in CT, and my aunt is in FL, and it was my aunt's door that needed replacing. Precision Door came the day they were called to give estimates, and even helped close the current garage door that was damaged. They then moved very quickly from initial contact to actual full replacement, even assisted with clearing out garage. Job was done, from initial inspection to full completion, within two weeks, and this included the time needed for Precision Door to order and receive the double-wide door needed. Wish they were in CT!

the technician did not tell me that loss of power would result in a door lock out until after the installation of the new opener was complete. there is no access to the garage from the house so this is a real problem. he then told me there was an over ride option for an additional fee but he did not have one on his truck which would result in another service and service fee. my tenant locked himself out of the garage that evening and the next technician available was on Thursday, two days later. he did not tell me that restoration of power would not make the door functional again, it remains locked with no access except breaking a window to get in. I hope you are ready to pay for any damage done to the window.

Tough review, I called the company and explained CLEARLY to them I had TWO older model Overhead Door Company Classic Model Motors. I explained I needed two things done: 1) To adjust the springs on BOTH doors (17 years old, the door when released from the chain was too heavy in the halfway position) and 2) The single car side needed the limit UP adjusted. Tech shows up on-time, very personable, very knowledgeable. Concurs that both springs are not doing their job correctly. Says he can't adjust another company springs. OK< THEN WHY WOULD YOU TAKE THE SERVICE CALL WHEN I SPECIFICALLY TELL YOU THE MAKE AND MODEL OF MY SYSTEM AND I TELL YOU I NEED BOTH SPRINGS ADJUSTED? Don't waste my time or yours. He did adjust the single door. He spent 30 minutes working up multiple quotes to replace the springs, the powerhead, etc. and 10 minutes adjusting the door. Look, would I recommend them for a new install, hell yes. Will definitely keep their information. But don't take my appointment for adjusting springs on a system YOU DON'T WORK ON...then charge me 99$ to adjust the door.... that's simply poor business practice.
