Unlike my husband, our technicianJake, did not make me feel like an idiot for exiting my garage when the door was not fully open. I called Precision to evaluate my garage door and replace a broken spring. Everyone was super helpful from reception and scheduling to Jake, my tech. I was given 3 quotes. . .bare minimum to get by, mid-range parts replacement and service with 3 year warranty, and most comprehensive parts replacement/service with 7 year warranty. Very clear and informative. The work was done quickly and professionally. Jake was great and did a super job. I highly recommend Precision.

I liked that I was able to get service the next morning after calling in at 7 at night. The tech called me to let me know his timeline. He fixed the broken spring and made recommendations to update the other spring and bearings. Fixed it and got on his way in about an hour. Left me about one weeks pay short. All is good, but very pricey. I wonder when someone fixes something for you in an hour and it takes you 50 hours of hard work to pay for it? oh, well.

I needed the weather stripping replaced around three of my garage doors. Yea, I know I could do it myself, but why leave it to a rookie when I can get an expert. And, that is exactly what I got. I had a 3-year old garage door opener fail and it is covered under the LiftMaster warranty. Precision Door Service charged me $84.00 for the visit and $150.00 to install the new unit. So after spending $234.00, my garage door opener that failed "UNDER WARRANTY" was replaced. Whatever happened to the concept of "warranty"? They said it was covered under warranty, but it hardly feels that way!

I choose Precision after calling three places. I like in their ad in the yellow pages that they showed that they were a Better Business Bureau company. I was even more impressed that I could get someone to my home the same day. When the technician arrived he was in full uniform and the truck he drove was clearly mark with the company's name. He explained the work involved, the time it would take and the cost involved. He was a very friendly person, but professional and seemed to know exactly what he was doing and how to get the job done right. One of the things I liked was that he came equipped to handle any problem on the job site, he did not have to return to the company for any equipment. When the work was completed he cleaned up and the job he did, looked better then the original. I would use this company again. I recommend this company for any garage service.
