2025: I've just had excellent service again from Precision Door Service. I wrote a lengthy review below 2 years ago and I want to add that my recent experience was also excellent. David was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained all the possible causes of the problem I was having with my car garage door opener so I understood. This company has excellent technicians who are personable and great problem-solvers. 2023: My son recommended Precision Door Service to install my new garage door opener. Everything about my experience was excellent as well. I called and was scheduled for the next day. Luke and James called a half hour prior to arriving. I recently moved here and this is my first garage so I know nothing about chains and belts and springs and general maintenance. They analyzed the status of a noisy, feeble 23-year-old garage door opener. Without overwhelming me with technical jargon, they proposed 3 options and presented the pros and cons of each as well as the price. I selected the PDS Ultra 901. I also opted for new springs. Everything was installed and remote controls and keypads were programmed by 5PM. I’m extremely pleased with the result and I have a sense of security and safety with the products and with their work. I appreciated the respectful professionalism of both James and Luke in how they explained both the products and the process to me. They were conscientious and left my garage neater than it had been.

I called for an inspection of my garage doors and for my nonworking opener. Nicolas came and I explained what I wanted, which was look at how everything‘s working cause I know it’s quite old and when I really wanted to take care of today, he gave me all of my alternatives and put a price tangle on everything I was very impressed with his professionalism and with and with. Great service! Cody was very knowledgeable and answered all questions we had both on the phone initially and in person . Tim was here the next day after we met with Cody to install the new door. What great service! I called around 5PM and was given an appointment for the following morning. Technician Joe both texted and called about 20 minutes before arrival. He was very friendly and professional and diagnosed my problem quickly. My garage door that sounded like a chorus of squeaky birds ran smoothly and quietly in the end. Recommended!

Update after a second visit: we had the same technician come and help us with a different garage door issue, and again he was amazing and fixed a hard-to-diagnose problem. He was patient, resourceful, and thoughtful. (David! hope it's ok to name him, he was so great. I would give him 10 stars if I could!) First visit: Technician arrived on time; was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He communicated clearly and was happy to explain as much as I needed, and answered all of my questions. I feel he honestly explained the benefits and drawbacks of repair vs. replacing. He was able to fix my garage door and got it working better than ever, and all in a very reasonable period of time. I'd be happy to do business with them in the future!
