Did a great job !

I am not one who leaves reviews for expected service. I reserve comments for those that go above and beyond and those that do the bare minimum. This is one of those situations. We have a 5yo garage door installed by a company who's name sounds like somewhere you'd deposit your money. One of the lift springs snapped. We contacted them a week ago and were scheduled for the next day. The next day turned into the following day because... reasons. Once they finally arrived, they said they were only there to measure the springs since they were custom. This was a Wednesday and they then said they'd be back out the following Monday to replace them. That wasn't going to work. After much back and forth they assured us that a technician could pick the springs up on Friday afternoon and they'd be there by 4pm on Saturday. Great...sounds good. Saturday comes and the tech arrived as scheduled. He said he was there to "take measurements" but he doesn't have my springs on his truck. I told him that someone from their company had already come out to do that his response was, "Don't tell me that... It's already been a long day." He couldn't find any record of the previous guy being out there to do the same thing. And of course they had no manager on duty to speak to and just one poor girl with zero authority answering the phone. That was the end of my loyalty to my original garage door installer. I called Precision and told them the story. I gave them the measurement of the custom springs. They made a same-day appointment to replace them which I had to push back a day because of my schedule. Jorge came out the next day (on a Sunday, no less), and took a look at the situation. Normally the warehouse is closed on Sunday but he called his manager to have these custom springs cut. 5 hours later he was back with the custom springs and had them installed in no time. As we were testing out the door he warned me that the garage door motor was extremely underpowered and would fail soon. Literally as he was testing the door, the gear froze and the motor was cooked. I assure you that Jorge did not cause this, as I was with him the whole time. I could tell it was ready to burn out almost as soon as it was installed 5 years ago. After looking at motor replacement options, we chose one the Jorge recommended (far from the other more expensive options). Jorge installed that motor on the spot, finally leaving at 9pm that night. All of this for less than I was quoted from the other company. I could not ask for faster, better, or more professional service. I will be using Precision from now on. If Jorge is your service tech, you are in great hands.

The Precision technician came out right away and fixed my aging door. I've used Precision before and have always been very satisfied with their work. This technician went above and beyond to make my door operable.

My garage door was not working and a technician was called out. Found that the issue was a bad garage door motor. While also inspecting everything else the technician noticed that the garage door cables were frayed and needed to be replaced asap. Came back out the next day and completed all the work and was able to work around my schedule since I dont get home from work until 6pm he got there shortly after I got home and had it fixed in about 2 hours. Very professional. Would highly recommend. Gave us several different options and prices that would work for us. Would recommend to anyone with garage door issues. Thank you again.
