Paul from Precision Garage Door Service was excellent! He installed new springs (that were broken) and a few other parts that were worn out. Not only did he do an excellent job but he was also on time and explained what needs to be done (and what can wait). I especially liked that he did not try to sell things that can wait/are still good enough for a while. I can highly recommend Paul!

What started as a broken spring repair turned into a new garage door. We had used Precision Garage Door of San Jose to install a new LiftMaster door opener in 2022 and were very impressed with the professionalism and workmanship. When the spring broke we went right back to them based on our experience. When our technician Raual arrived he diagnosed the problem promptly and had three different options on how to proceed with the repair. After looking at the cost of the repair and knowing that my door was at least 40 years old, I asked my wife if she would rather get a new door in stead of spending the money on the repair. We had been talking about a new garage door over the last few months. Raual was just there to listen to us talk about it and provide us with all the information we needed to make an our decision to purchase a new door. He was there to do a repair but he also had the knowledge and experience to help guide us in the right direction. We had looked at garage doors back in March and found the quote for the new door very reasonable. We are excited to see our new door (special order) completed and installed and we hope to write another notable review soon. Called for after-hours service of a dented garage door and a damaged roller, service tech Anthony arrived about an hour later, diagnosed the damage, and was able to repair it the same evening. Very prompt and courteous, answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. He charged me less than expected for a same-day fix. I was reassured that my garage door misadventure was thoroughly repaired.
