Sales and Service Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION: Serves as the sales and service technician for residential garage doors, garage door openers, and related components. Provides multiple alternative recommendations for repair and replacement of necessary parts for garage doors. Sells appropriate services or replacement options. Interacts with customers on a daily basis providing them with excellent customer service. High school diploma or GED; some college preferred; supplemented by two or more years' sales experience closing deals with customers and dealing with customer complaints is required; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

Door Installer

JOB DESCRIPTION: Serves as an installation technician for residential garage doors, garage door openers, and related components. Interacts with customers on a daily basis providing them with excellent customer service. High school diploma or GED; supplemented by two or more years' experience installing garage doors, providing direct customer service, and dealing with customer complaints is required; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

Customer Service Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A customer service representative, or CSR, will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiency.

Successful CSRs are genuinely excited to help customers. They’re patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. They love to talk. Customer service representatives can put themselves in their customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Customer feedback is priceless, and these CSRs can gather that for you. Problem-solving also comes naturally to customer care specialists. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer complaints.

The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Go the extra mile to engage customers
  • Resolve customer complaints via phone or email
  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling
  • Advise on company information
  • Place or cancel orders
  • Attempt to persuade customer to reconsider cancellation
  • Inform customer of deals and promotions
  • Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered
  • Read from scripts
  • Resolve customer complaints via phone or email
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proven customer support experience
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
