I would like to revise my review. After my complaint, I received a call from the local manager and a follow up call from the technician. The technician offered to reverse the $100.00 charge. We have an older garage door and the manufacturer no longer makes the weather guard. The technician came out twice to fit different sizes but they did not work. He came out a third time and replaced the bottom piece so it would accept and hold the new weather stripping. I am totally a fan now. They provided great service, with great response. I would recommend anytime for garage door issues.

I asked for an outside disconnect because the overhead door is the only entrance. The installer had never heard of this. Other doors in our complex have this. I also asked for an outside kerpad. Again he had never seen one. I purchase one from Home Depot. Our HOA insist that all boxes be broken down before they are put in the bin. I was written up for this infraction. There were not light bulbs or battery back up provided. The installer said the HIGH cost was due to off shore “Trump” taxes. The unit was made in the USA. Other than the above, the instal was good.

Installer did a fine job and answered all my questions. The quality of the aluminum door was a piece of junk. Flimsy,noisy,and raddled due to the gauge of the material. The original equipment by Pulte was better than that junk you installed . Noticed, this door did not have the same horizontal stabilizer bars as my old one. $1000 worth of junk.

The manager called me and she said she would look into the matter and call me on her findings. Never happened. No problem. I have new garage doors installed with another installer. I told him what work Precision did and he could not believe the charge for doing NOTHING but just move some wires. I discussed the problem with Sun City management and told them the Precision Door should NOT advertise in the Sun City Service Directory. The seniors do not need to be scammed. Dan Hockar
